i ripped tracy plenty this season and previously for being lazy. I will be first to apologize if it is indeed as bad as the reports. Either way it sux, he was a crucial piece in order to have post-season success. Ill wait till this real info is released. There is a report in direct confict indicating nothing about his knee has changed.
because he makes $20+m a year and the rockets want to make sure he isn't tearing his knees up without them knowing about it

No, Feigen just said that the reports about the injury being season ending "seem inaccurate", period. He doesn't say why. As far as what he knows I would say that there's a good chance he's gotten the scoop on the MRI's even though they haven't been made public. As for the reason why, I think there's a chance that T-Mac's had the MRI's to provide cover for his missed dunk last night. Or to take himself out of trade consideration. Or because he's going to sit for a while, again. There's enough drama on this team right now to provide material for a dozen soap operas. I was actually feeling kind of hopeful that it would be over and done with.
This is exactly what I was thinking too. It may seem farfetched that all this could be false and he really doesn't have any missing cartilage. But it seems all too convenient that after the worst game of the season, and missing the dunk, and with all the turmoil in the locker room, they come out and say he has missing cartilage. A person that gets routine check ups on the knee and on top of that he himself said the knee was good to go, with all the "vintage" and "I'll be back" nonsense, all of a sudden some of his knee is missing. Somebody call crime stoppers.

yeah, the good old T0F dismissing argument.. no one got more excited when the rumor surfaced here about the possible Toronto trade.. I wanted that "lazy little b-" out of here ASAP, and all of this distraction this drama queen was causing had me fed up.. ...up until I learned that he has a cartilage missing in his knee, at which time I saw how we wrongfully accused him of dogging it out there, while in reality his injury was legit.. unfortunately, a "99'er" doesn't exhibit comparable class.. to each his own I guess, but it's really a shame that people would take advantage of internet anonymity to spew such hatred and classlessness on a player even when it's clear to everyone that he hasn't done anything wrong and he has been honest all along with the so called "phantom injury" that wasn't so phantom afterall.. but hey, if it makes you feel all macho and fuzzy, have at it man.. it's not like Tmac is reading/listening to this nonsense.. but remember, next time you ask "Why basketball gods!? why? why did we come up short from making the playoffs? why did we run our best player out of town!?", remember that this thing called karma has teeth and they're sharp..
Feigen at the Chronicle thinks that T-Mac's probably not done for the season, so let's hold the jury until all the evidence is in regarding the knee.
Are you kidding me? There's a reason Yao Ming, Artest and MCGRADY were billed as our BIG THREE. Where do I expect we go WITH him? To the F-ing BALL, prom queen. With a healthy big three, we are a championship calliber team. WITHOUT McGrady, we are back to square one. We did the "Dynamic Duo" thing for years. Losing McGrady would be the equivalent of years past, except Ron Ron is nowhere near what McGrady was when he had health.
So, literally, you would rather come up with conspiracy theories that Tracy is the most deceitful, spineless player in the NBA than just admit that maybe you and a lot of others on this board might have been a little hard on him?? Seriously, just stop.

I don't hate T-Mac, I just want him gone. He's a headache and a head case, all rolled into one. As for being a Rockets fan, I love the Rockets because of Scola, Battier, Yao, Hayes, Deke, Landry, Barry, Brooks and now Wafer. You should love watching guys who come out and bring it every night and clearly want to be there. In terms of the roster I don't think you could ask for a more professional, hard working and classy group of guys. When they're all on the same page and firing they can be truly special--e.g. the 22 game win streak. By far my favorite roster across the entire league. I don't even mind Alston as much as I used to. Also, my favorite coach, Adelman, is in Houston now. It's a match made in Heaven. But I'm glad you're able to scientifically determine how I feel about the Rockets and T-Mac.
im sorry....i like everyone else was going on the initial reports which obviously were not right. Who knows anymore?
