Deep down this is what I was truly afraid of.

There are an innumerable number of people here who owe McGrady an apology. Next time, when a guy says he's hurt, or isn't "right," do yourself a favor and STFU before you decide you know better.

I only have one thing else to say: J.R. RICHARD

I dont know if you know what you are saying.

it is not like he will be back and you know, ready to go. He may MISS THE REST OF THE SEASON = Rockets season is DONE

The physical injuries are one thing. Mentally he's just not in the game. It depends on how serious this injury is. If he's out for the season and he's going to require microfracture then he's also going to need to do some serious, serious rehab. Not the fun stuff. Add it all up and I could easily envision T-Mac deciding to call it a career.

idiot doctors who said it was something he could play through. they just ruined our chances and they should be held accountable.

so now DD, maybe tracy is right after all. sure it's a mental thing, but his knee has never been right.

once again, the doctors have FAILED us again.

Rejoice, Wafer gets playing time. Talented ballstopper out for the season.

Might as well shut down Yao Ming and Artest as well since our season and playoff advancement hopes are gone with McGrady. Then your boy Wafer will get all the shots you wants.

    Happy now, idiot?

I feel bad for T-Mac, mostly because he's a guy that seems to need his Prozac, but there's no question that this season the Rockets have played better without him.

Maybe the rockets will get past the 1st round of the playoffs now. And I'm serious.

The sad part is all the assholes on this board always criticizing T-mac for not running hard, playing hard defense, or missing a dunk, or some stupid **** like now, are probably happy he's out for the season. I gaurentee you this team will not win the championship if T-mac is done this year. If we had T-mac, we would still have a very very small chance the way were playing now, but it was still a possibility. I dont think we can do it without T-mac. Sure, Wafer is better, but in the playoffs I dont know how wafer's composure will be since he hasnt really played in the playoffs. Of course T-mac is 0-7, but he still brought something wafer couldnt bring.

I'd really like to see what Artest, Battier, Wafer, and Barry can do without looking over the shoulder for TMac to come back.

Wafer in particular. I know he's a second round pick who has bounced around a bit, but you could say that about a lot of players who went on to be stars. Is he that different from Stephen Jackson?

OK this is completely *****ed up.. either somethings wrong with this info or our team doctors are morons..

Havn't they been monitoring Tmac's precious knee the past 8 months?? HAVN'T MULTIPLE DOCTORS RAN LIKE A MILLION MRIs?? Havn't they been checking it out every single waking hour and prodding and poking it nonstop? Didn't like 3 doctors declare that the knee was ABSOLUTELY FINE and TMAC just need to develop strength??

How could they miss MISSING CARTILAGE? This couldn't have just degraded overnight. Cartilage is the most important component of the knee because its absorbs shock and cushions bone-on-bone.. HOW COULD THEY MISS THIS UNTIL NOW??

this should tell how idiotic most on the board is questioning tracy's drive and heart. now we know those aren't really the problems.

when you're hurt and can't play, you can't play. and now we know he might have a season ending surgery.
