ESPN last night reported that Dallas rejects the Baron Davis/Kaman for Kidd trade proposal from Clippers. Clippers wants to rebuild and get rid of big contracts, so they want Kidd's expiring contract in return. Can we offer TMAC for Baron Davis/Kaman? I'm not familiar with trade calculations, but seems like Clippers can get pretty much same thing in TMAC as with Kidd. And we got 2 players who can fill our weakest positions(PG and backup center/pf) with similar overall money. The only thing we lose is flexibility in 2010, but who cares if you realistically can't land bigger names than Baron Davis that summer anyway(LBJ,KB,DWADE are most likely won't be here in Houston). Again I'm not familar with all the complications in trades. I'm just curious to see what you would think about this possibility.

In NBA coast to coast, they reported that Cuban don't want those long term contracts in this economy even though it's obviously an upgrade for Dallas.

I would do that in a heartbeat, our team would be scary. But that is alot of long term salary for Les to take on in this economy. Definitely makes sense from a winning perspective.
this would actually be a pretty sweet deal for us potentially. a second legitimate center would be awesome and BD is worth the money solely for his beard. Maybe follow it up with a Battier for Ben Gordon. Don't really know what chicago is looking for but hey its worth a shot. This would probably have to involve another team because I see no reason for the bulls to take battier for gordon unless they need some glue or intangibles.
