There's a world of difference between criticizing a player on a message board, and criticizing them directly over the phone.
I'm talking to ding dong keyboard warrior kid who (as all warriors always do) likes to take shots from behind a keyboard.....instead of saying something in the "real world". I too have no idea why she would be scared to call....oh yeah, her parents wont let her use the phone that late on a school night. Just having some fun with internet superstar, they're always fun to play with- got plenty up here.
So what....you decided to up your post count in a thread for serious Rox fans to ask questions of a player....with really bad humor? Ok. I had a feeling.
I dunno man. people take shots at sports figures on the radio all the time. when I go to games and I see a player I hate i act like a moron honestly. something about the "this is my chance" or something.
if you are gonna ask him a BBALL question look at clutchcitiyreturns questions on the first page. I REALLY want to know why he goes for so many steals. really sucks to see that.
Let's review Carmichael Dave. Originally this thread was to have any questions for Ron Artest. Everybody posts their questions, I post mine and I am the one offered to call? What is so special about me? It seems like all you are doing on Clutchfans is causing disruptive behavior around here. All you are doing is violating rules and there is nothing special about that. But you go have fun. -I am here to talk about the Houston Rockets and the NBA and you respond by posting pictures of a chicken, calling me a panzy and telling me to call.. Oh yeah, there's nothing wrong with that.
Yeah, but DIRECTLY at the athlete? I'm sure there are jackasses out there that would, but for the most part...Ive found it goes like this, in order from easiest to hardest for the Keyboard WarriorCrafts out there: 1. Talking to Mom at dinner table 2. Talking on a message board under a screen name 2.3 Talking on the chat feature of a video game 3. Calling in anonymously on a radio show 132. actually saying something to someone's face in person. The internet has given a 3+d20 spike in cowardliness.
hey rookie, chill out and step back from the thread. this is 3 more posts in here than you should have.
once you get properly lubricated at a game its not really hard to do this. and it gets much easier the closer you are to Salt Lake City.
Keyboard Warrior Steps to denial: 1. Talks a load of smack on Mom's computer under really cool screen name 2. Gets invited to do it in the "real world" 3. Tries to make excuse as to why he shouldnt step into "real world", such as too late, too old, or some other insult back at original target that begins to hide the growing fear of losing what's called "E-Cred". 4. Gets invited AGAIN to have a "real world" talk 5. Starts to grow agitated, keyboard starts to smoke, tries to re-attack poster to hide growing fear that pre-pubescent voice just CANNOT be heard in public, or the E-Rep might lose some points. E-Cred slips even more....
Ah yes, attacking the poster more. I'm sure going to call now...I mean that is how people work in life right? Just keep calling them so many names they eventually do what you ask? I am done here like that one guy said, I have too many posts in this thread.
As long as you promise to do your call in french. BTW, we almost had an epic time today. thanks again...
Step 6: Realization that E-Cred is falling at a Wall Street like pace, attempt to diffuse with "I have better things to do" attempt. Unfortunately, everyone knows the Lich King can wait 5 minutes for a phone call, but I digress....
My Question to Ron Artest: Name Game, when I say a player, you respond with something about them. Quick Answer Only!!! Elton Brand Reggie Miller Larry Bird Ben Wallace The Maloofs Bonzi Wells Kevin Martin Rick Adelman Rafer Alston Tracy McGrady Bart Enis
