hamza is right

Tmac is a winner, think about it. he gets a huge shoe contract, and is our highest paid player and he only has to play at the most 7 games in the playoffs.

he gets more vacation time then any of those other dudes like kobe and lebron!

    that's freaking sweet.

    Hippieloser,

I like your signature. It's a valiant attempt at educating some people on this board. Unfortunately, I doubt it'll do much. People who spell "dominant" as "dominate" are unlikely to take notice. It's funny though.

That wasn't the point of the conversation to start out with.
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you didn't read the post I had originally responded to.

The guy said McGrady has, "been a loser his entire career." I don't agree with that, because he has been an amazing player. He has no victories in the playoffs, which I totally agree is shameful, but that doesn't make him a loser..

tmac has more vacation time the last several years than kobe and lebron,
    that's not your words.

    that's the truth!

So are you selectively replying to only certain parts of posts now?

To clear things up, since Tinman likes to be the little girl of the class who spreads rumors..

    First, this was posted:
To which I replied:
At which point badgerfan said:
To which I responded:
Then tinman felt the need to steer the conversation in a completely new direction that I never even hinted at... and stated:
And..

Yeah Tinman, I really ranked T-Mac up there with Karl Malone and John Stockton

you're accusing badgerfan of using logic that puts tmac with barkley, malone and stockton.

we all know badgerfan's logic isn't that bad unless he drinks some 20 bottles of romulan ale.

what i posted was fact. All those dudes made the NBA finals except for Tmac.

Oh no, just making sure we're on the same page here.
Look, I like being realistic.
Tracy McGrady as is sucks. He isn't worth much, and is hurting our team tremendously. However, I had a problem with the guy saying he has been a loser over the course of his career. I don't think that is true. Yet, I agree with all of you.. I think that as far as we can all see, he is declining as fast as Shawn Kemp did
and..
I seem to have a problem with everything badgerfan says, because none of it is worthwhile IMO..

Oh no, badgerfan stated his opinion quite clearly.

    It was:
Because T-Mac hasn't won anything, he is a loser
I just think that while that is a factor at judging someone's career, it shouldn't bear the biggest weight. Otherwise, you could say that Manu Ginobli is better than Clyde Drexler

Shawn Kemp got really fat, I think he almost made 300 pounds. Plus he had like 20 kids.

As far as we know Tmac doesn't have that many kids.
unless tmac goes tmacdonalds, I think he'll still be good enough to play in the NBA.

The whole irony of Shawn Kemp is that we got Barkley to match up with him.

Now both of them could be sumo wrestlers.

for the record, I don't think T-mac is a loser.

I just think he was never in the same class as Kobe, Lebron, Dwade etc. His Orlando numbers were ballooned because the offense required him to score alot of points. His playoff games were not impressive in orlando. i know this hurts many tmac fans feelings. but i wasn't impressed. if you score alot of points you better win the freaking game too or else your points mean nothing.

Same thing for Steve Francis. The whole offense was based on him to disguise the fact that he couldn't run a team as a PG.

A true winner to me is one who wins anywhere he goes and brings leadership and experience. Like Sam Cassell, he turned around the Clippers and they MADE THE SECOND ROUND. that's like turning around the entire economy right now, except harder.

Or Robert Horry. He will never be Pippen, but that's a good thing. All his teammates like him on every team and he makes good plays on both ends of the court. its not about stats, its about winning and we know what he did in the playoffs.

    haha yeahh..
I know what you mean.
What I was saying though was the extent and rapidity of their decline is somewhat similar. It is just easier to see with those two, because they were so freakishly athletic..
T-Mac can still play in the NBA.
He wont be a superstar anymore though..
See, I'm no blind T-Mac fan! :D

That first line is exactly what I was trying to say this whole time...

T-Mac is no champion, but his career has been far from a loser's career..
I agree with the rest of the post too

You've got it backwards. T-Mac's a quitter, (see Milwaukee and Toronto games), therefore he's a loser.

He's never won anything because he's a loser. Never winning anything = symptom. Being a loser = the underlying condition.

    OK,
i've removed you from the list of blind T-Mac fans ;)

I wonder if there's enough Lasik surgeons to help the other people on this board?

I like how none of your scenarios involve Tracy getting back to how he used to be. That would be the best thing to happen for the Rockets, and when you discuss these "case" scenarios you don't care if they are realistic or not, i.e. your "best" case scenario. What do you think the Rockets will get in return for him on the off chance that he does get traded? It seems to me that you hate Tracy more than you like the Rockets, something that I'm seeing more and more on Clutchfans.
