Rafer and Battier are legitimate ZERO's.

Put our best talent on the floor regardless.

Remember how well we were playing with Aaron as a starter?

And it can't hurt to take Battier out, he does absolutely nothing to help us win as of late...

Rafer Alston is fine as a starter, he is just a streaky shooter, but he has a much higher IQ at being a PG than Brooks, and Rafer is a pure PG.

Ron Artest? I wouldn't mind him starting, but Artest and T-Mac are virtually the same player on offense. We need to start Von Wafer and bench T-Mac.

How is it possible that anyone still defends rafer and can honestly believe he is fine as a starter? Alston's 30% career FG shooting has never done anything to help the Rockets advance. Not only is he the WORST starting PG in the NBA, I could probably count 15 backup PGs I would take over him anyday. I amazed at how many people can accept Rafer's mediocrity. But its definently not just Rafer...TMAC, Artest, Battier are all horrible this year. But as far as consistently horrible year in, year out, Rafer takes the cake.

Out of all the threads started tonight, this one is the best. Rafer's game tonight is typical and representative of how he's played his entire career. He's not that good. Battier is useless out there as well. 3 on 5 basketball is no fun. I would've started Brooks and Artest a long time ago and sat the other two. Hopefully, it's still not too late.

Brooks should be starting. The only reason he probably went through the funk he was in was because he got sat when Rafer got back from his injury after outplaying some of the best point guards in the league. Talk about a buzz kill to see that worthless and inconsistant Alston get started over you when you had been playing so well. I would have lost confidence in my coach with that. They should have kept Brooks in the lineup since he was playing so well.

I honestly think that all it will take for this team to start winning is trading Artest.

At this point, I don't even think it matters who we get for return, as long as the player is a decent PG, PF, or Wing

Getting a new coach wouldn't hurt our chances either

GET ARTEST OFF THIS TEAM STAT!

Thank you! When will people realize we need an athlete on the floor who can shoot and drive, not a sluggish half assed has been?

Artest plays hard. He's played well without McGrady for the most part.

Sounds like you're talking about a Rudy Gay type of player.

How about keeping your knee-jerk reaction ideas to yourself?

Yeah to win you put in the players that are playing hard and good that particular night. I wouldn't have kept the starters in that long in the 3rd quarter.

Just put the guys who were winning before Ron and Tracy came back.

I was excited to see real talent and team work from the rockets before tracy and ron came back

Is that really a knee jerk reaction? Its quite clear that this team needs help. We are losing to teams that we should be beating by 15+. Its not just once or twice that its happened...
