If Artest wasn't laughing at TMac's missed dunk in the 1st quarter then please lock this thread. Also, this deserves a thread of its own because it's a sign of the team chemistry issues, which is a source of our inconsistent play. IMO, that it is entirely unprofessional and a sign of poor team chemistry when you laugh at your teammate for a missed play, no matter how bad it looks, during a tight game. The proper reaction from Artest and whoever else was laughing should have been words of encouragement. TMac has confidence issues now and when your own teammate is mocking you, it just adds fuel to the fire. The result is TMac shooting 1-9 tonight. I'm no defender of TMac, but that was very irritating to see TMac's teammates not supporting him. That was poor behvaior on Artest's part if he was laughing at TMac.
Pathetic is Artest shooting 2 shots at the rim without looking as game winners and losing. Is he tryingto be a magician?
Anytime a player misses a dunk like that his teammates would laugh. I laughed Hell even T-mac was laughing about it. Little did I know that everything would go down hill after that missed dunk.
ummm, T-Mac actually hit his first shot and got a nice steal but after that missed dunk he completely tanked it. Guess he realized he has the injury excuse now so why even try. If T-Mac got that dunk and boosted his confidence we might have won the game. It would have put us up 6-0 I think
I am afraid that Artest may be out the door soon. We're starting to show a lot of cracks. And the McGrady/Artest combo just isn't cutting it. I am convinced McGrady doesn't like him.
u must have been a kid that got laughed at a lot. He is a pro athlete who missed a dunk, everybody always laughs at that. Even T-mac laughed and was talking to the bench on next play down at free throw and they were razzing him. Get over it.
Because you're his teammate, and you're getting paid to be his teammate. This is a "no no" for team sports, if the game is tight or if you're losing. If your side is winning by a large margin, then this rule can be relaxed.
i wasnt laughing i was crying because i know no one wants him and we are stuck with him for 1 more year
I think this may be spot on. We have a saying in hockey that when someone is performing uncharacteristically bad then he is "clutching the stick too hard". I think this is definitely T-Mac's PRIME issue (not saying there aren't others).
