god this guy is god awful, he use to have some what of a post game where had that running jump hook, hes just awful now and just sits at the 3 point line. On defense hes playing below average, just pure garbage. Im sick of this injury excuse, hes had enough time to heal

battier is a ROLE player. games like this you need your stars to lead. and they arent. if you are expecting battier to carry your team in a game like this it just shows how much the expectations for our "superstars" have cratered. im sorry that its amusing to me that someone would pick on battier tonight when the impact of his "off night" is marginal compared to the impact of our superstars' off night.
Well, I DO expect a starter to contribute a bit more than 3 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. It looks like none of the starters showed up except for Scola.
Funny thing is, this whole board should be tmac threads. there aren't enough threads in the whole internet to justify how bad he has been playing. that's why we need more.
Battier's not the problem...T-Mac and Artest are. You can see no one is really trying hard, maybe Yao and a few bench players and of course Scola but everyone else is taking the lazy approach like T-Mac is.
