People complained about defense-oriented boring ball.

Are you happier now seeing 58-64 at the half?

I guess you didn't hear what Bullard was saying..we're top 5 in defense per 100 positions dude, this means that we're still among the top defensive teams in the league.. we're just playing a faster pace, and scoring more points.. and Charlie Bell took some shooting pills before the game..

the defense isn't as bad as the score suggests.. the Bucks are just scoring, plain and simple.. hand in his face, fadeaways, everything is going in..

so no, I don't miss JVG in the slightest bit.. I don't miss seeing Luther Head "entertaining" me every night as the part time point guard.. with JVG, Brooks and Wafer might not have seen a single minute of PT..

it will get better, and we will get out of the first round (and no, Mora's playoffs? video wouldn't be funny here). and we'll be on the lookout for bandwagon hoppers..

This made me chuckle and drew a momentary smile. All things considered right now, I didn't think that was possible! [As we remain down 10 to a helpless Bucks team that we continue to make look serious]

Bucks vs Rockets in a nice, historically preserved capsule.

teams are still shooting way too far above fifty percent for this crap to be tolerable! Im not satisfied. They are not at the same level defensively as years past.

And which stats prove this? Last I checked the Rockets were 7th in FG% after being 1st or 2nd during the last four years. They are 8th in PA after being in the top 4. They've completely regressed from years past (even moreso than I thought) and the inconsistent offense doesn't justify that.

JVG won with absolute crap talent on most of his Rockets teams. The defense was top ranked and the team was always in contention. True they lost a few playoff series in 7 games to better teams but they were always in it and competed hard. This team now is awful but way more talented than any of JVG's teams.

With all of the talk of JVG possibly not playing AB, Wafer, Landry and the other young guys I need to know which stud youngsters did JVG not play during his tenure here? VSpan, Lonny Baxter, Reece Gaines, Mike Harris, John Lucas?? Hardly any talent there. JVG always played with who was ready and got the best out of everyone including the many scrubs that were on his rosters.
