I agree, he's pathetic. He's nothing but a decoy. If I was the opponent coaching against T-Mac. I would let T-Mac have the ball in his hands and let him shoot all he wants. He is a below average offensive player, in terms of shooting and finishing, and he is a defensive liability. He is a glorified Luther Head.
No shot blocking. People know if they just dive in to Yao they get calls, and Scola is the same way. He either gives up a dunk or fouls. Yao and Scola get no respect from the officials at all. It makes no sense.
Yao fans love JVG because even though the team was horrible to watch, the whole offensive game plan was to dump the ball to Yao every play.

Not true, JVG probably ran more T-Mac Pick n rolls than Yao Ming isolations. He always tried to have the offense run through Yao but eventually when Yao goes down with his yearly injuries, JVG fell in love with T-Mac again.
