I think rule #1 of the internet is to always assume that you aren't the first person to have seen anything. (Especially true if you don't spend any time on the bleeding edge of the internet where a lot of the memes and videos spread from). That being said, I don't really mind these type of threads because there always ends up being 1-2 people who haven't seen the clip, no matter how old it is.
your right its very safe to assume that. but i find i comical/funny/lame to make so many jokes because someone hasnt seen a video about a reporter swallowing a bug. its all good though
