big surprise--peyton is avoiding throwing the ball to AJ. had about 6 plays inside the 15 and ran no fade routes to him. weak. he did throw to him the 2nd play of the game, then nada after that.

Speaking of Mario, it was amazing how much more effective Freeney and Mathis were than him. I think I saw Mario get close to the QB one time while Freeney and Mathis were disruptive for the better part of the game.

If you had actually watched the whole game, you would've seen Mario gave a half-ass effort throughout the 1st half. (I don't blame him though, the game is meaningless.) He just stood around for the first couple of seconds after the ball was snapped, and then initiated in a game of patty cakes with the RT.

He did try harder in the 2nd half, after Mathis/Freeney were making a bunch of plays. Guess he wanted in some recognition/attention too.

I just finished watching the game on DVR.

AJ was barely looked at by any of the QBs.

Mario kept getting double-teamed or he just didn't want to try so hard since it was just the Pro Bowl. Came a few times for a sack, but that damn Freeney kept getting in the way.

It was good to see OD get some public recognition with those 2 catches and the TD.

They need to get rid of the Pro Bowl....waste of time and $. The players should just get the recognition of being nominated to the Pro Bowl. Then it should just be a Fan Based NFL extravaganza where all they do is just chill w/ the fans.

The fact that the had him playing DT most of the game probably had some affect too.

Yeah, I'm guessing he wasn't too happy about that. I don't blame him for not giving 100% when he's disrespected like that. He was there as the starter at DE, not DT.

I bet he wasn't. He was chosen as a starter because of his play at DE, therefore he should PLAY DE. That's garbage that he was the odd man out. He deserves far more respect than that.

Next year the game will be played on the off week between the playoffs and the superbowl and will be played on the same field as the SB. IMO that should make the game a little more relevent.

Why would it be more relevent then? Not only will you have less players showing up simply because the game is not in Hawaii, but you also won't have the players who are actually playing in the Super Bowl.

Imagine yesterday's somewhat exciting game WITHOUT Larry Fitzgerald (who caught two awesome TD's). Does that sound more relevent?

Really pissed me off to watch the game and see no one paying attention to Andre Johnson. What a load of crap. The QB's didnt even look his way. At least one of the commentators mentioned after AJ's catch in the first that if he had to pick a wide receiver in the league it would be Andre.

Andre Johnson - The most underrated and underappreciated player in the NFL. Everyone's all over Fitzgerald because he was in the superbowl. AJ's the best, not fitzgerald.

thanx for the correction and someone should have given that young man some O.J. (w/o the knife of course)

and as dynamic as AJ is Fitzgerald doesnt have the whole defense keying in on him so he can run free not to mention the man has some gargantuan hands
