Limited resources. Unlimited desires. That is why wars are, and will always be, fought. And why conflict will always be around. Religion, race, nationality, those are convenient methods to bring about the necessary Us v Them dynamic to fight for those resources, but in their absence other methods would be found.
I'm all for nuking the entire planet except for North America. We're going to destroy ourselves anyway, mine as well make it worth it and have one country standing at the end of it.
Maybe all military leaders will read Ender's Game and settle their differences on XBOX Live? Because winning Kashmir over a 5 game series of Starcraft would be so rad.
