Im not much of a dating kind of guy, and i have been more so lately and im not afraid to admit i like watching a chick flick now and then with the girl. I rather enjoyed The Notebook... Maybe im just sensitive in a non gay way. Maybe it's b/c the most warmth i've ever known came from the arms of prostitutes....
not all chick flicks are created equal... just like not all action flicks are created equal. And i thought, according the the male actors in the show.... this wasn't a cliche'd chick flick. <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/K7lHJ7XkYAo&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/K7lHJ7XkYAo&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object> Also, I love Bradley Cooper's stupid grin Moes.. just for the record (though an actor that was in alias can really do little wrong in my book ) Having said all that and being a chick myself, I have no intention of seeing this movie.
**** son, let me tell you what I did. I had the same cheering section bunch of b****es up like 7 rows ahead of where I was. So like they are starting to get all annoying and ****. I think there were at least a 3 of them, maybe 4. I never turned back to see. Anyway theres some scene with that Cooper douche when he kind of bounces or something and you see his ass jiggle in Home Depot for a split second and they all starting swooning like OOOOOOHHHHHH GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So when Scarlett was getting her clothes tore off and them t*tties was about to pop up, I threw my first up in the air and was like HELLLLLLL YEAH!!!! THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!
Dudes, u aint seen a bad chick flick until u seen "Mamma [f'n] Mia!" Horrifically bad --- all time top of the heap piece of [expletive] of a movie!
Some old GF made me see a movie called "The Mirror Has Two Faces." Effing terrible. Never forgave her for that one. Of course, she also loved musicals and show tunes. Needless to say, we didn't last long.
When Jennifer Connelly walk in on them I said "he's got a sh-t secretary" and the males around me laughed in unison. One guy was like "he's got a point." I got an elbow to the rib for that remark.
Made me laugh...although, based on your feminine side coming out, maybe it came from the arm of male prostitutes...j/k ... You know I hate to say it but I thought the same thing...she just needs a boob job...but let me be clear, I would still hit it...
I can't watch endless variations of Dumb and Dumber, Something About Mary, or Anchorman, so if I want to see a comedy it's generally Woody Allen or something like this. I thought this one had a decent cast and the book made for watchable material. Also a nice launching pad for Ginnifer Goodwin; I could see her leaving "Big Love" in a year or two, she reminds me a little bit of Amy Adams.
I will eventually see this, Ginnifer, Scarlett, J.C and Drew in one movie is too much to pass up. However I will likely wait for cable.
My wife doesnt even ask me to go to those chick flicks. now if its at the house and i'm trying to spend some qt, cool. In fact my wife isnt a girly girl. She really doesnt care for flowers and stuff like that. She loves sports probably because she was a collegiate sprinter, so we're cool. P.S. I dont wear pink shirts either.
