However, neither player would confirm the story. The players have until May 14 to make a decision. Portland Trail Blazers -- F Rasheed Wallace picked up a technical foul with 26 seconds left to play in the second quarter of Thursday's game. That boosted his single-season record total to 37. San Antonio Spurs -- A slight cartilage tear was diagnosed in F Tim Duncan's left knee, keeping him out of Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. Duncan is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game with the Jazz. ... F Sean Elliott suffered slight sprains in both ankles in the first half of Thursday's game but returned to play in the third quarter. Vancouver Grizzlies -- Billy Knight, a Pacers executive and former NBA All-Star, reportedly is in line to become general manager of the Grizzlies. The Vancouver Sun said Knight has been offered the job. I haven't seen this guy play but heard him compared to Swift which sounds good to me.
