    Wrong! We complain about how bad our team loses to under .500 teams, but we forget that other gret teams besides the cavs and lakers lose to horrible teams the same as we do. Yet they are at full capacity... practices with the full team 24/7 and knowing the rotation before hand, yet our team has suffered from all the above to hinder a great contender.

    I bet a million dollars portland fans are not panicing like us, wanting to tade like us, or get rid of the coach like us. They have faith. And they should.

    The messed up thing is that we have had worse luck than them and their fans stick by them.................. why can't we for our home team like they do on the count of adversity? Cowards we are, afraid to be less than expected....

    Dadakota, I'm calling you out to be the most negative and obsessive person on this board, although you WILL DENY IT you need to be patient and wait for when it counts......THE PLAY OFFS!!! No trades, upgrades, or changes will help us. Just practices and games to gain chemistery will, I know this!

    In the end every great team loses to really bad teams when 100% but we have not even become close to full potential.! Mark my words well will survive, we will go unto the night. We will fight in the end to become the least to the best! We well win!

    I BELIEVE!

    You can't ask Rockets fans to make sense. Some do, but thats a small number.

    We all know that good teams lose to bad teams ONCE IN A WHILE... But we have lost I think around 7-8 times against bad teams, teams we should be blowing out. But then again, we have had so many rotation changes, and players (shane, t-mac, artest) getting injured or getting the flu or some bs like that, so it is kinda hard to blame. But we still lost to bad teams with our big 3 healthy, I guess we need to build some chemistry.

    i dont believe that any NBA team is horrible

    common, if you are in the NBA, u must be good somehow...

    OKC just dont have the chemistry...they arent horrible..they just need time = experience...they win sometime becuz they try hard...and we(the good teams) tend to play lazy cuz we think they are horrible and we can just blow by them

    Here is what you should believe:

    If you can't take the truth, no matter how harsh it is...then you should not pick up the keyboard and post.

    This team's record this year against teams under .500 is 14-13......you want homecourt which you need to advance....stop losing to crap teams.

    And just a bit more fire, the CLIPPERS just beat the crap out of the Grizzlies in Memphis.....

    These rookies....SHEESH !

    1. Portland isn't and shouldn't be anywhere near the level Houston SHOULD be.

    2. Portland's team and fan expectations aren't even close to Houston's.

    3. Their team's average age is probably like 23 or 24, they have a window of opportunity of like a decade. Houston's is more like 4-5 years.

    4. All that being said, their record is BETTER than Houston's, which means they are seen as being ahead of schedule, not behind schedule, like Houston.

    5. Therefore, this post has failed.

    Also, a team that got Bowie instead of Jordan has worst luck than houston, even with all the injuries.

    Rockets are not learning nothing in the post-season team, the rocket is only one goal - championship

    One other team played a bad game and lost to a sub-50 team does improve the Rox situation. I won't be happy even if that happened more frequently because at the end of the regular season Rox chance of going beyond the 1st round is still dim if the following trends are still prevailing:

    1) Of the Rox last 7 games, they lost 4 (Pacers 20-31; Knicks 21-28; Sixers 24-24; Memphis 13-36);
    2) Display of (a) poor defense (b) bad shot selection (c) iso-plays;
    3) Five of our main players are shooting below 40% and they are still jacking up shots; and
    4) Coach seems to have no clues in handling the above shortcomings.

    Other teams doing bad in the regular season is none of our concern.

    Edit: does not improve the Rox situation.

    Portland is nothing more than a pretender. Everyone knows that, even Blazers fans. If you want to put the Rockets into the same category, go ahead. But to use the Blazers loss tonight to rationalize some of the Rockets losses, first you need to understand exactly what you are doing.

    There's actually hope in Houston having decent fans.

    and he'll be the first one demanding a trade once it doesn't work out. I'm not sure what would be a "decent" fan, but a good fan is any fan who wants the best for their team, which I think is most of us. This isn't baseball or football where heart and determination can upset a complete team continously, here you need a complete team first.

    No. A good, REAL fan sticks with his team and believes in them through even the roughest of times. I've watched 90% of the games for the past 4 seasons. Even through the season where we only won, 30ish games, I was there believing in them. Everybody on here, I bet was riding Tmac's you know what until this season. That isn't real. Houston fans need to stop being ignorant and actually think about what he went through and why he came back the way he did. And the team's only been intact for a few games. Rick Adelman said it himself, we've only had about 3 practices with the full line up.
    If you're gonna be a band wagon fan and only hop on when Houston's winning, then you're not real.
    Houston deserves better.
