He was really good in the first half, and okay in the second half. He made some really nice passes throughout the game.

There were a few moves he made to the basket which looked unstoppable. He looked hesistant when open from behind the arc and he missed a wide open one.

His defense is still underrated by many for some reason, but if you look at his PER statistics, he is our best player defensively. He holds his opponents to 15.8 points per 48 minutes. He is second in terms of FG percentage against(chuck hayes is first) and he's first in turnovers against. I guess it really is hard to tell just how good defensively he is, but the numbers tell the story. He's been a lock down defender for us all year.

Good game. Still a work in progress.

When in doubt give Yao the ball.

I genuinely believe Tracy is a little bi-polar. When he's up life is a bowl of cherries, he works hard, he plays hard, he gets along with his teammates, etc. But for guys who go through mood swings every up is followed by a down. As Feigen put it, "Typical moody McGrady". I could easily believe that there was real drama in the locker room--there was just way too much smoke for there not to be a fire. By the same token things might be better now just because T-Mac's all happy-happy-joy-joy now.

The really sad part is that the Rockets are probably going to go through this exact same soap opera next season. To hell with arthroscopic surgery, what T-Mac really needs is Prozac.

Ron still has lapses, but I think he's really made some strides in playing the offense in the GS game and tonight. He's looking to pass and he's doing a lot better moving the ball. Still some lapses, but overall I'm feeling optimistic.

    [Rockets.com] Wire-to-wire with Bulls

    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Rockets_Go_WiretoWire_In_Win-299302-34.html

Interesting quote, which I do not understand about Barry:

I talked to Brent a little bit about how someone was going to be left out of the [rotation] and Brent’s been around a long time, so he’s got the ability to step in and play when we need him. And I think you’ll probably see that. You’ll probably see that at some time I’ll go to Brent for a three or four or five game period and let him play because I really do like Brent on the court with Aaron. I think he really has a settling influence on Aaron and can help him out. So I’m just kind of seeing how it goes right now. Hopefully we’ll get some sense of who we’re going to be and how we’re going to rotate people.

Indeed, Barry is great with AB on the court but what does he mean by three, four or five game period ?

Great article, especially the love shown to Scola !! He's our Mr. Consistent ;)

Everybody played well, YAO needs to shoot more, and Wafer deserves more time.T-mac was attacking the board again, i hope he won't get tired because of the dunk.

What? I would still trade him if the Pistons were still doing a Wallace and Hamiton (or Prince) easily.

Its easy though, he raised his game therefore his value went up. Its easy NBA economics.

Bingo! That's why I highly doubt T-Mac's EQ. Your true face is shown during down time, not only up. T-mac just does not have a mature personality, which decides his professional success or failure.

In this sense, T-mac is not even a very likable person. I would rather take a composed character like Rick Hamilton.

jeez i am tired of reading about ppl complaining that we arent real fans because we dont embrace mcgrady!

please cry more! u should know by now that we have a what have you done for me lately type of mentality towards our players, especially towards our superstars! he played like garbage all year long, so he got treated like garbage. im glad he is finally healthy, now he needs to step up w/ some consistent play and help our team win.

as far as being a loyal fan, we are loyal to the team ROCKETS. not one player is greater than the team. go start a tracy mcgrady fan site if u want to talk about how great he is.
