this is a poll. you're asking people "What is more important to you?". not asking them, "what do you think MIGHT happen in the playoffs".

you're asking the pollers to choose whether they want Rockets to advance past the first round BUT Mcgrady gets injured or they dont but Mcgrady plays a good first round.

so why single out Tmac? cmon. explain that. why Tmac? Because in your far fetched thinking, the only way the rockets could advance is without tmac playing.

Youre massaging your ego, because you want people agreeing with you. That it's better that Tmac doesnt play because Rockets will get past the first round.

    Worst thread EVER.

    that's your imagination dude.

oh injuries don't happen? have you been watching the nba? ever?

so you have no faith in our team without one player?

you realize that the Celtics have been winning without KG lately right? he's got the flu.

if this is the worst thread ever, then why are you posting on it?

I mean if you hate Tupac, then why are you dancing to California Love at the club?

    sucka!

    Tinman,

    -I love the 94-95 Rockets
-I have great love and respect for Vernon Maxwell, Sam Cassell, and every other Rocket hero of that era.

Please stop with your childish McGrady vendetta. Everyone knows he is not Hakeem. But his legacy will not be written until his career is over. Nobody had a clue Hakeem would become a two-time champion in 1991.

Rooting for the Rockets and rooting for T-Mac to do well are not mutually exclusive. It is not a crime for a person to be a T-Mac fan and to defend his record. Believe it or not, this behavior is possible while also hoping the Rockets succeed.

I rather have team success then to see t-mac dropping 30. but it would be nice to have the team success with t-mac healthy dropping 30 night in night out.

I like Tmac, I own more Tmac gear than Yao gear.

But I believe that some people here put the player ahead of the team and make crazy statements for 'defense'. I'm a Rockets fan. Do I hate Tmac if I think that this team could win without him?

Do I hate Tmac if I think he was overrated in Orlando and certainly not the best player in their history? Do I hate Tmac if I think Kobe has always been better than him? Do I hate Tmac if I don't make excuses for all the first round exits?

No it's not on Tmac, its on the clueless people that make the Rockets fans look stupid based on their blind faith in him.

Some "Rocket" fan writes to NBA TV and compares Tmac to Jordan. Webber and GP laugh. why are they laughing? not at Tmac.

Hey nobody knew Michael Jordan would get past Detroit or the Celtics. Everybody knew Dream could take his team to the Finals (2nd year, 1985-86, the season people here forget or don't care about)

The needs of the Rockets outweigh the needs of the Tmac fans.

I'm with you on the team success. However, I'd rather see Yao scoring 30 points a night cause that's how we've been winning.

Plus our TEAM has better help that Tmac scoring 30 points a game isn't necessary. Plus that means, we are having issues getting Yao the ball.

Does Ray Allen or Pierce have to average 30 points for the Celtics to win?

no, you vote with your heart. if you vote in spite, then it shows that it clearly bothers you to believe that this scenario could happen or that I can affect your emotions with some simple scenarios.

    hahahahahaha

Without T-mac, the Rockets can pass the first round.

I voted for the 1st option.

But hey TMac only hurts mentally - he's only too afraid of playing 1st round games as he had lost too many before. He couldn't stand people calling him 1st round loser again.

I predict his mental was completely cured after Rox 1st round win and he played from 2nd round onwards and won all rounds including the Final Championship. :)

Jack Bauer has to find the traitor in the government in order to save the country, so far there are few who are helping that dude get that CPI device.
