Do you guys remember Rodney White? He was talked about a lot during the days leading up to last years draft. People talked about how he could succeed in the next level, that he was the prototypical big guard of the future. Well, this year he avg. 3.5 ppg, his season high was only 7 points. For a kid with so much talent, you'd expect him to at least score in double figures once. Maybe it's because the Pistons were playoff bound this season, but Richard Jefferson got plenty of good minutes for the Nets. It's only been his first year so he has plenty of time to develope and become a good player. He reminds me of Woods because he came out of nowhere a couple of months before the draft and is similiar in size. My concern is that if we get Woods, we should make sure he has a bigger impact than White because we'll definately miss the playoffs if Woods has a first year like Rodney's.
Good point Oski about Rodney White and Woods. However there was some concern that White was a tweener, which could cause problems,I was surprised that he did so poorly this year, although I'm sure he can improve. Woods is a forward/guard.My concern with him is that he has only played at the JUCO level, and he could struggle in the NBA because of a lack of stronger competition. Butler would be a safer bet in my opinion.
the reason why you don't want Q. Lazy and unmotivated at times famous quote prior to going to D.C. to prepare for the draft. "Yu know, I never have really worked out hard before." Uh, I would pass.
Wasn't that quote in reference to him never lifting weights regularly? Maybe someone's a little ticked that the guy won't be attending a certain school in Tennessee
