"Tracy is coming off surgery", that's rich. When was that surgery again? Tracy's refusal to rehab properly lost him a lot of credibility with the fans of this board. Had he done things properly it's highly likely that not only does his season turn out differently (practically undoing threads like this one), but the Rocket's season looks a lot different than it does now. Please don't use "Tracy is coming off surgery" as if it were a month, two months, even 6 months ago! Keep in mind he didn't have any ligament damage that required repairing or rehab. He had his knee scoped to remove loose bodies. It was expected that he would be fully recovered in 3 months and this was back in May of 2008. Tracy has surgery 9 months ago. His expected recovery is 6 months overdue. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5759867.html
northeastfan - I have a question about your sig. If you think all of our starters are garbage, who exactly do you think should be playing instead?
I don't think all of our starters are garbage; otherwise, how are they 10 games over .500? I'm just trying to add a bit of levity ....
This is the real problem that bothers me. Yao usually finishes his rehab ahead of schedule, Tmac goes the other way, even though it takes bigger body longer to recover. It's all about attitude, not talent.
Truehoop --- "Looking at the last twenty games he has played -- a very small sample size -- the Rockets have not been good with Tracy McGrady on the floor. Perhaps more important is the notion, spreading like a virus among Houston fans, that McGrady is to blame for nearly everything that ever goes wrong on that team. He has been tremendous for a long time. But he has his issues, and at some point, people will start to see him less as a savior and more as someone whose $23 million comes off the books in the summer of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, etc."
I don't mind honest critique, but I think resorting to insulting nicknames all the time is a bit childish. If its part of a specific point, its one thing, but as a default way of referring to the players, its a bit much. Things like "I am not biased against TSlack" are a good example. I am not directing this at you specifically, but at everyone who uses "McLady", "TSlack", "McLazy", etc.
McGrady is playing like ass this season because he hasn't been healthy. Where are the numbers from the previous four seasons?
WOW AMAZING did you have time to tell your parents? spending 24/7 on this board is starting to pay off way to go with your life!! you are just amazing
