A friend of mine who's a Jujitsu instructor told me last night about Helio Gracie's death. He was a great man who did a lot for Martial Arts. I was happy to see him get some recognition in the movie Red Belt
BTW- For those of you sick of Justin.TV crap links or do not want to go through the Sopcast thing, go to this site and download. It takes maybe 20 seconds, great resolution, no buffer, etc. http://pages.tvunetworks.com/downloads/player.html#
Penn, go back to your weight class. You got humiliated. Boring UFC card compared to last weeks Affliction lineup.
Out of all the way for the fight to end "GSP beats the cr@p outta BJ until he gives up after doing nothing for 4 rounds" did not rank high on my list.
I have to agree. From what I'm reading online, Penn was humiliated. Back to 155 you go. With all the trash-talking Penn was doing, I was hoping for better, but oh well. Maybe this will set up something between Silva and GSP or something.
I'm pretty shocked that Penn didn't put up much of a fight, but I was rooting for GSP so it's all good. I love Anderson Silva but after today I think I can safely say that GSP is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC. Hopefully they can fight and decide who really is.
I didn't realize how much of a size advantage GSP had on Penn. His calves/thighs/arms were all much bigger than Penn's the only part where Penn had a size advantage is his gut and big ol noggin. GSP is gonna go down as the greatest UFC fighter of all time and nobody can touch him in his weight class. The guy is an absolute FREAK! Dr of Dunk- You had it right the first time. GSP needs to fight Anderson Silva and I think it'd be an amazing fight. Thiago Alves would get DESTROYED by GSP. He's on a whole other level compared to the rest of the guys in his weight class.
