I'm a big BIG Landry fan....but I don't think cutting Scola's minutes would be a good idea. He's more consistent then Yao this season.

but yea....Landry is just sic. who wants to sex Landry?

    I sense it too.
Even it was the defense, don't you think we play much better defense without MacLady?

It always looks better when shots go down. If ron misses some of those difficult shots, that's a different game.

Can't trade Rafer until Brooks proves himself by becoming consistent in his play. By watching the game once TMac is back him and Ron should never play together, Ron should only play with the second unit. It seems Ron plays better without TMac for some strange reason. As for a trade only 3 more weeks to see what Morey comes up with.

If I were the coach, I would start and close the game with:

    ab/wafer/artest/landry or scola/yao,

if ab struggles, replace him with alston
if wafer struggles, replace him with tmac
if artest struggles, replace him with battier

we should always play the players give us the best chances to win, not the players with highes salaries (tmac, battier, alston, ...)

The Team is better with TMac on the roster because he gives Adelman more options. But, I would like to see TMac come off the bench as a change of pace. Since TMac is sometimes a ball stopper and can be effective one on one or as a distributor, it would be better if he played when Yao or Artest were resting.

Good win, and that was Artest's best game as a Rocket. That said, I hope tracy is ready for tuesday vs the bulls. The team needs all of the big 3 healthy and playing well to achieve postseason success.

The board's obsession with blaming McGrady for most problems the team has is shortsighted and silly. He wasn't the reason for the sixers loss on wednesday, etc.

    Yao = 25 pts, 11 reb.

We kinda needed him tonight. Just saying. :)

Luis has been awesome, but you have to find a way to get Landry on the floor especially in crunch time. Those offensive rebounds are huge down the stretch, and when he catches the ball close to the basket, its a sure bucket or foul, with Luis, for whatever reason, he doesnt get the calls Landry does. The explosiveness and the strength of Landry complements Yao really well. Now he has a jumper. To me, he brings things that you just can't teach, and the rockets could use some of that, especially at the end of games.

You are not confused, you're just being an ass and are trying to bait me. It's typical. Anytime the Rockets win I am happy. I am a Rockets fan, first and foremost. But, I hate the way players are scapegoated around here by people like you. No player is above criticism, but people like you are being over emotional about him. He didn't leave you at the altar, did he? Did he kick your dog?

Let's go over this one more time. Tracy McGrady is the best player on this team when he is healthy, though that is a big if with him. In any case, we will not get anybody better right now. If the right move came along over the summer, sure trade him. The people who think just getting rid of an asset like him for a bag of peanuts are stupid. I just think he gets demonized way out of proportion by people. The not running the offense criticism would mean more if it were applied to the other ball stoppers on the team, for example. The bottom line is that I care about the Rockets winning. If Chuck Hayes and the ghost Steve McQueen led the Rockets to a championship I would not care so long as we got there again. Frankly, it makes you look like a d-bag to whine about McGrady right after a good Rockets win. Are you really one of those guys, Crash? What kind of Rockets fan are *you*?

With Tmac out, Artest should be the primary SG and Landry and Wafer will get Artest's minutes at that spot (Both of them will still be the primary backups at sg and pf). That way two of our best bench players will get more PT. In fact you can probably go a step further and bench Battier as well until he starts playing offense again, moving Wafer to SF full time and giving Brent Barry some PT.

I like the win, too. But don't get too high, especially about T-Mac.

I agree 100%. When healthy, McGrady is the best playmaker on the roster. Rafer Alston is a point guard in title only on this team.

Makes me wonder why bad luck seems to strike us the most. We don't appreciate anything, so if there were basketball gods, why would they give us the championships when our fans don't even appreciate our own team? Every player in our team gets some special hate threat whenever possible.

    vs. Chicago
    @ Memphis
    vs. Minnesota
    @ Bucks

We have to start winning. T-Mac has to start playing better.

Good dominant win where Yao put solid numbers and immense pressure on GS. Now we need to do it on a consistent basis and make the South West a contest and not a two horse race between SA and NO.
