You made a thread saying he was done for the season without knowing the extent of the injury?

    Rookie him.

My pops told me it looked bad. Kobe fell into his leg.

I don't think he has been ruled out for the season yet though.

lol this was probably worse since Bynum is the bigger guy and already had knee problems. I'm not sure how he landed though.

his knee snapped back a little when Kobe's head hit his knee. Kobe was down for a little while too and was oozy until Drew was carried off

No need for that...the least rockets fans can do is try to sympathize with other teams when an injury to a main player kills all their dreams.

Lakers' court side reporter has reported this

"a springed right knee, X Rays are inconclusive. Will be taking a MRI and more tests tomorrow at NYC."

Give me a break. The guy stood outside the Bobcat's bus for an hour apologizing to the team, trying as hard as he could to go apologize to Gerald himself. He didn't mean to hurt the guy.

Strained Knee = Damaged to ligament

This is far different from a strained ankle or rolled ankle. This can mean ACL, MCL, or PCL damage, with ACL being the worst.

If this is light, a good two weeks to a month sounds reasonable. If there is extensive damage to something like ACL, he is at least out for the season.

Like the announcer said, all the x-ray does is rule out broken bones. The MRI will tell the real story. IIRC, ligament damage is usually diagnosed as a "sprained knee" until the MRI confirms the damage is worse.

The Lakers' season is at stake here. They aren't championship contenders without Bynum. Even if he returns, Bynum will play tentative for a while.

lakers are still quite good without Bynum, its not like the Rockets losing Yao every season

For the first time ever, I post the youtube video before anyone else. You guys are slipping.

It hurts just looking at the amount of pain Bynum is in.
