    For my uncle actually.

I have the Samsung LN52A750 lcd and I absolutely love it. I love the way LCD's look. My friend got a Samsung PN58A550 plasma and while it looks awesome it does not look quite as good as mine.

I love the 120 auto motion stuff. Makes it look super realistic.

Anyways, now my uncle wants a tv. Which one of these should I recommend:

    http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-PDP-5...?ie=UTF8&s=audio-video&qid=1233435984&sr=1-17

Pioneer Kuro plasma which everybody says is the best tv ever.

    or

    http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN52A...1?ie=UTF8&s=audio-video&qid=1233435984&sr=1-1

Samung LCD. Basically the tv that I have and I absolutely love.

i have a friend that has that kuro tv im pretty sure. not sure if its the elite or not but it makes me want to get one after watching a few movies on it. great great picture.

and i see its $2000 on amazon.

i have a question though will you be able to get that specific tv cheaper in the future or will they discontinue making it and update that version with the same price.

because i wont be buying it for 9months or maybe even until next christmas, just curious if it will go down in price.

In 9 months the newer 2009 models will be out and the current tv's will be pretty hard to find. The older models might be cheaper but marginally.

Well, the Pioneer Kuro is better, but if your uncle's tv space is near too many windows, then I'd go LCD.

The Pioneer Kuro has a cool feature that auto adjust your picture settings based on the lighting of your room.

The 50" non-Elite Pioneer Kuro is now around $1900 online with free shipping. Going to pull the trigger soon on this one.

Where do you see it for $1900? I went to best buy just to check it out and its absolutely amazing! Gonna go with this one for sure. On amazon its $2020.

Can't believe anyone would buy it from best buy for $3500 plus tax and delivery is basically $4000. So online its 50% off!!!!

    There is a Philips LCD 1080P 120Hz model at Sam's for 849.

I'm sure its not as nice as the Pioneer but its less than half the price.

You can't compare any LCD to a Pioneer Kuro. Get the Kuro, you won't regret it.
