    This is a straight chicks day. Guys hardly benefit from this at all, and if you have to wait for one day in the year to get you some then you already have other problems :D

    A few years back I ditched my gf (at the time and now an ex) and went to the Rockets game on valentines day. I bought her a ticket to go to the game with me, she wasnt too pleased and that sort of killed the relationship. We were a new couple so it wasnt that big of a deal for me that the relationship ended. I had made reservations at her favorite place for the weekend anyway and gotten her a nice gift but she wanted to do something on that day. Its understandable but I hate going to restaurants on valentines day, they are all so crowded and it just seems so forced at times.

    so she didnt want to go to the game i was stuck with an extra ticket, so i took a friend along with me instead.

    it was a great game too.

    There is no relevant entry in urbandictionary.com, so I don't think it's spreading. Maybe someone needs to put in an entry. I would but the definition is NSFW.

    That said, man urbandictionary is a joke. So many terrible definitions.

    EDIT: I won't be doing much. My wife is working that night so that other couples can have a nice Valentine's Day.

    Any recommendations for a nice V-day restaurant with piano/jazz music that also serves great tasting food? I've been to Sambuca once and the atmosphere was great (nice interior with live piano music) and the food was good too. I'm trying to see if there's something similar in town. TIA.
