I know this is highly improbable unless the Bucks want to do it but I would be willing to consider the following which works on the ESPN trade machine. Rockets outgoing to the Bucks McGrady Head Bucks outgoing to the Rockets R.Jefferson F.Elson C.Bell
If you guys wanna make a trade it looks like the Suns might be listening to offers, they are falling fast in the standings and can't stop losing. Check out this link from Yahoo about the Suns possibly dismantling the team. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-suns012709&prov=yhoo&type=lgns I would still take Nash and Barbossa on this team.
^ Nash would be an upgrade to Rafer but I still prefer Bibby over him at PG for the Rockets. Bibby + T-Mac + Yao could be great.
Do you think we could get Jared Dudley for Luther Head? Dudley's young and a great defensive player but he doesn't get much pt in their stacked rotation. Luther, on the other hand, could fit in as a shooter and uptempo player.
Be careful what you wish for. The man needs the ball to be effective, he can spot up and shoot long J's but if he is out of rhythm they're gonna be bricks. He does little else without the ball in his hands.
Another thing you guys gotta take into consideration, everyone around the league knows you guys have talent on the roster but it just isn't working out and you're looking to retool the roster to continue having championship aspirations. Other GMs know this and they'll probably ask for a draft pick or more of your youth in return (Landry or Brooks). The closer to the deadline the Rockets wait, the more they would have to give up to acquire anything.
Well can he do anything else? set up the offense? set screens? rebound? play D? He can only score so when he's bricking shots, your team is digging yourself a hole because he can't make plays and neither can he play defense to keep you i nthe game.
Ah but average defense doesn't cut it, he's gonna put the Rockets bigs in foul trouble if he can't stay in front of his man and he commits as many turnovers as his ventures into the paint to make plays.
