Sometimes its just better to move on. Look at the magic, they dumped Tmac and now they look like a finals contender. We haven't won anything with Yao so I don't see why he is that great.

Your the joke of the day. Watch year of the yao, and play a sport where everyone eho is everyone respects you in a city where you have live for all of your american life. Get out of here and never come back. Remember, he is communist and loyalty is something that means more to them than us americans.

Sorry for the steriotype, but I had to say it lol.

Great post. Sometimes I get a terrible feeling that people from mainland China are just crazy.

    Are you from Taiwan?

Honestly I think you got the point. I think neither Yao nor Tmac is the leader type of player and the Rockets will be hopeless by put these two together. Yao is better off by playing with a leader type of guy with strong ego like Kobe or even SF3. The Rockets will be better off to get rid of Yao to get a real leader to build around. However I know this is no gonna happen. There is no way Les will allow it.

rofl leader type? yao is suppose to perform the guy sucks in the 4th quarter. Have you seen his latest games? every game i watch he is too clumsy, he is not focused. ex. the game against 76ers the ball bounced on yaos head he didnt know where it was and got dunked on.

Stupid guy. Who scored the last 4 points to keep the game up until T-Mac's last shot was blocked? Yao did play a bad game. But it's T-mac who shooted 4-0 and sucked in the 4th quarter.

you might be right. but who will that "real leader" be? any particular player in your mind?

td is also a low key guy. luckily his first 2 years he had drob on his team.

ibm, avery was the leader and elie was the muscle. Once johnson left or was the bench kinda guy, it was duncans team.

You will never win any Championships with Yao being your first option. I think by now everyone has a brain and without bias already gets it.

He is not good enough to be a No.1 in a Championships contender team, but he is great as a second option for almost every team in the league.

Will he opt out his contract and join somewhere else? Highly unlikely but it is possible. It certainly looks good if he pairs with Lebron or Wade in 2010, at least on paper (just like Gasol and Kobe).

    False.

Sure you can win a championship with Yao as your number 1 option, but you need a 1A as well.

The Spurs are a great example.....all we need is our Manu and Parker and we are Golden.

i didn't mean drob was the leader. td was lucky 'cause drob was willing to defer since he was on the way out. yao didn't have that ad he has always had to defer to either sf3 or mcgrady. this can possibly change this year.

i'm just curious to see what happens if yao is established as the absolute no. 1 guy. but that may not happen.

If LA has chance to get Yao, They will trade Bynum right away.
I'd like to see Yao Play at LA. Can't wait it...

I hope Yao leave so that you can enjoy the rebuilding year and out of the playoff for the next 5 yrs. Grow a brain if you have one. The main reason Tmac and other superstars will come to Houston is because of Yao. Take that away and no big star will want to come here.

You got too much hate for Yao that you've gotten blind and stupid.

I hope Yao leave too. Yao needs to go to a team where he can be 2nd or 3rd option. I hope Yao can win something somewhere else.

Rebuilding does not mean being out of playoffs for 5 years. Rebuilding is all about getting a star level PG. Utah did it, Hornets did it. Portland did it.

TMAC coming to Houston......the result has been not good at all.

    11 years of failure.

what other superstars will come to Houston? why have not we seen them?

Why would it take 5 yrs? How long did it take utah,la or orlando? Utah lost 2 hof and 3 yrs later they were in the conf finals. Orlando drafted a high schooler and traded their best player and now have a contender. Yao is good, but he isn't a franchise changing player. The rox traded moses fresh off his 2nd mvp and finals appearance and 3 yrs later were in the finals playing for a ring. Need I go on?

The first step is somebody has to offer something for Yao.

If you were the Lakers, or the Cavs, or any number of contending teams that thinks you just need one unselfish force in the paint to get you over the hump, wouldn't you at least offer?

I'm guessing somebody will at least send an offer Yao's way. What happens after that is anybody's guess.
