As said int the title I just watched my recording of last nights game expecting €mac to play horrible.... Why? Because, people were hating on him all over 610 radio and the same on this forum which is ovbiously full of haters. BUT! He played great! All the wat until the end of the fourth he was 50% shooting with a soft dunk, drives, and jump shots of two,s and three's.

I just don't get it, I know it's just one great game coming off a mildy good game, but if people that are so called fans of the team are so quick to hate and judge him, then why no quick appreciation threat or congrats for playing hard. His D isn't the best but he played it with effort.

In the end, I am by far no appoliogist, I just try and be consistant and see it for what it is. Sodont hate on him appreciate the effort he gave cuz it's been a while and a long, LONG time coming.

    Anyone else aggree?

Yes, Tmac played a whole lot better than he did against New York. He played great the first 3 quarters then it seemed fatigue got to him in the 4th quarter. Clearly, he is not close to being 100% and I doubt he will by season's end, but he is showing more discipline on the offensive end, which is good news for the Rockets.

I agree hes looking great, but for this team to win hes going to have to learn how to get his in the flow of the offense. Luckily, this team will have a couple practices and games at home to learn how to play with each other.

Yao was a no show yesterday but people blamed Tmac. That was annoying.

Tmac certainly did play with more bounce in his step and even made cuts to the basket without the ball! He's still not close to 100 percent though but you can definitely see the improvement in his physical ability.

He needs to work on his shot selection and move without the ball more. I hate how he is always floating around the top of the 3 point line looking for Rafer to give him the ball.

I think that Tracy was actually trying to fit in the offense for the first time this year. I think that he will start getting appreciation threads when he consistently try’s to fit in and doesn’t go back to dominating the ball. Also, the Rockets will need to win a few games. However, because he makes 21 million dollars a year, fans are going to expect a lot more out of him. Personally, I don’t think he will ever be able to play the motion offense well, and I don’t feel that he has good chemistry with Yao. As a Rocket fan, I hope that I’m wrong.

    a tmac appreciation thread, nice

hey mbiker, I dont know if its tmac thats having the prob of fitting into the system but Yao. RA's system just isnt built for big men and RA took to long to make minor tweaks.

and yes I still dont think he played well, I think he played better then what we are used to seeing. he played well last year and great in the PO's. right now he is just playing better then what we saw

The ball movement is much better when he is out of the game.

I HATE it when T-Mac, gets the ball and just stands there doing little head fakes waiting to make his move... He did this about 6 times his first game back and only made maybe 2 of the shots. If he would play in the flow of the game and cut out the 1 on 1 stuff, it would be much better to have him back.

Seriously, isn't that what he does even at 100%. He hasn't been effective in the 4th quarter of close games in quite a long time.

I nominate joesr for playa hata of the year in the playa haters ball.

    Hate hate hate hate hate

Bro, I surly hope your not married or have a good job or anything good in lfe cuz you sound like a guy where nothing is ever good enough from to much of a high expectaion mentality. 50% with a boat load of moves with 25 says it all. He played great, not godly like the old tmac , but just great.

    NOW I'M DONE!

Moreso, considering we lost our double-digit lead with McGrayd on the bench and the boards favourite Wafer on the floor.

I thought that Yao did pretty well with Adelman’s system during Ron and Tracy’s absence. As far as Tracy, at least he is trying to fit in.

G Rat, lol I guess that not just a clever name. What a hater, I just watched the game moments ago and the ball movement was fine, his passes were some of the best all season from anyone.

Jeez bro, your such a rat...

So long as we see an improvement, it's fine. But the ones who keep regressing need to be addressed.

T-mac did play better in three quarters yesterday. The only difference is Rocket can win with Wafer's contribution but loss with T-mac.

hit it on the nail. offensively, he moved and looked great. i'm still concerned over that tweak ankle but he came back in the 4th and penetrated fine. hopefully it's not too bad. but movement-wise, that's the best he has looked all year.

but defensively, just terrible still. gotta pick it up on that end. he had only 1-2 good defensive plays last game.
