I just got finished with the sequel to Pillars of the Earth, World Without End. It picks up a couple of hundred years down the road in the same town. Great read.

I love Orson Scott Card, and have read everything he has written. Try the women of the bible books if you haven't already. Pastwatch was the first thing I read by him and it is still my favorite.

Has anyone here read Octavia Butler? She wrote some really thought provoking books and died way too young just last year.

I thoroughly enjoyed World Without End. I read them back-to-back and probably should have listed them together, although I liked Pillars of the Earth a little better.

I've been keeping an eye out for those Card books at the used book stores, but can't seem to find them. I might just have to order them new. My wife is keen to read them as well.

I haven't looked them up on Amazon lately, but what about them? Are they higher?
