It's bad coordination because the players are still not used to each other. Mac and Ron have been in and out of the lineup, and they have to get a couple of practices in before they are familiar with each other again. This team has potential. We need health, time, and commitment. This home stretch will prove crucial.

They notice it's just that it was the Pacers game earlier.

7 of the 9 shots were in the paint. 3-4 of those shots he should have gotten a foul call.

but yes, he's moving the best he has all season and has looked to dunk several times. more importantly, he's beaten every guy off the dribble WITHOUT help. that's a good sign.

But now this puts Rafer in the spot light..... Which means he will have to step up his game....

Not at all. Because Rafer is an unselfish player that plays hard. He's just not very talented.

There's no reason to pass the ball when you have an open look at the basket. That's what they're doing--making the unnecessary pass.

It's all good. Even if they lose this game because of that it might lay the groundwork for some chemistry and establish what they're going to be in the future: a good, unselfish team that plays team ball.

we should probably never even take the ball on offense from now on, because there's a chance we could turn it over. if not that, then plays that involve passing should certainly be discouraged, as a pass could be intercepted and turned into a layup. we should decide what play to run after we've run it and determined that no turnover occurred.

She used to do the Rockets halftime shows in the mid to late 90s.

gotta start using barry as the backup PG now more often; brooks has just disappeared for 2 months now.

I'm trying to disagree with you very respectfully.

The play had very poor exicution. Tracy dribbled into the paint when the paint was packed with multible defenders. He never should have done that IMO. He should have passed it around the horn and made the defense guard the perimeter before he tried to just drive it down the defense's throat.

Laughable? You're living off play by play and I'm laughable?

If you think it's a good idea to give a team a 2 v 1, then I'm not going to debate with you any further, because you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

It was a clear foul that was not called, he even beat his man off the dribble meaning SOMETHING good is going to happen. What if the rockets ran an offensive play instead but was fouled and no whistle blew? That means the sixers have much more time to execute an offensive play.

You think that running a play means you always get a foul and it is always beneficial when there is minimal time left on the clock?

For the last time, McGrady beat his man off the dribble, that is as good as any play you'll ever see.

Bottom line, that was a stupid play by T-Mac. Scouting report should say that the Sixers are stocked with shot blockers and guys that defend that paint. Make the extra pass after they commit fer crissake.

If that is what you would prefer fine.

I would much rather the team go down the court and play for a high percentage shot. Not just trying to run the shot down and fling up a prayer.

Wrong. The Sixers defend the paint well and they rotated. He should have dished after they committed.

Watch the game. That's exactly what the Sixers (and everybody else) does to beat Yao.
