The beginning of the year, I liked his play even though his FG% stunk.

    Now - not so much.

    If,

    a) Artest can play and play his normal basketball, where he attacks the basket, than he should play

    b) Artest can't really do things he normally does, because it is sore, than he should sit.

We need to change our training staff... they should recommend to take these guys out until they're ready to go for the rest of the season...

instead of rushing them back 1 or 2 weeks early and playing like crap, just rest them an extra bit so they can play the rest of the season...

don't let t-mac and artest play til after the all star break... we have an easy schedule in feb anyway.

How can you say that after he has played 2 games since he has been back. One game he played great, the other game he sucked. Dont judge someone after one poor game... but i guess that's just this board in general...

I think they want to help. but they had too many pride to 'fit in'. They should do what Tmac did last year, off bench and defer to others till everybody felt comfortable. Now Rockets don't need them to play like superstars to win a regular game. just slow down.

Ron obviously haven't healed yet. He should sat down.

Artest isn't really my big problem, though some of the things I hear I understand why the Rockets are exploring their options. My main point was the Sportsline article said Artest might sit out and the Chronicle article said "Sportsline said he might sit out, but he might not". The Chronicle didn't add anything definitive or new really.

As for what we could get for Artest, I'd only be speculating. I'm very comfortable in saying he's being shopped though. I think everyone knows I'd love to get a starting-caliber point guard in here, but that's just a dream for now.
