I didn't say trade Tracy....I said trade Artest. BTW, there is no guaranted Tracy will get healthier, or quicker, this may be all he has. Right now, he is simply afraid of going all out and it shows.....he should be on the bench.... DD
Can we get Van Gundy back as some type of defense coach, our defense has been pitiful the last few games.
artest is a good player but i just don't think he fits in with us nor is he what the rockets need at this point.
By that measure T-Mac doesn't fit either. He's too much of a ball stopper. The Rockets would be better off with a lesser talent who actually plays the offense.
His contract makes him untradeable...and I think once he gains confidence he will play better. Artest is just not a good team player....not at all. DD
Uhhhh Tmac has fit the offense or actually been the offense ever since he got traded to Houston. It's just been this season that he's really choked and been letting people down. This is why I think he'll come back and thinking this is just a bad start. But who really knows. Just hoping for the best I guess...
You think TMac does? I hate to say it but TMac and Ron should be considered to be traded. Enough of TMac.
In terms of what's realistic, absolutely. But even if Artest goes if McGrady still is playing ball stopper then the Rockets still have a big, big problem.
At least Tmac can get more confidence and passes the ball well.....Artest doesn't....and his team defense is terrible. Ron is great at one on one D, but he gambles far too much and gets burned a LOT on the defensive end. Ron is a bigger problem IMO than Tmac..... Though I would start Wafer over Tmac right now. DD
I just don't see TMac getting healthy this season. He had his chances to get healthy during the Summer and trying to get it going during the season is impossible. Look what 10 days did for him, he is still limping out there. TMac will not be healthy this season.
He is not limping he is playing like a weenie...he is just afraid, you can see it. The guy is AFRAID of going all out......he just has to get through it, and gain confidence. I have a lot more faith in that happening than Ron Artest learning to play team ball. DD
