Can we bring in Joey Dorsey and let Yao rest until after the All-Star Break?

Agreed, plus it only decreases the odds of a substantial injury.

However, I do think he should dress if only to shoot free throws during the final minute.

I'm all for it. Don't get him banged up and hobbled against a team that would almost certainly play him rough.

Here's hoping we see more of a team approach from Artest and McGrady tonight.

It wouldn't hurt to have him in the lineup while Yao is gone. Plus, Scola has been getting into foul trouble AND we are going against weak teams right now.

Yao doesn't matchup well and his knee could use another day of healing.

    Good move...

Matt, how did Rich Lord not know that T-Mac didn't make the all star team. I mean, really? Does this guy even read top stories on the sports page??

Joey should not start over Scola if he was on the team. If anything if he was to start he should be at the 5 and Scola at the 4.

I don't think we will have to worry about that anytime soon though, I don't see Dorsey getting in the rotation this year.

Exactly. Knicks like to run but like to shoot jumpers as well, so smart decision to sit this one out because we even have better chance without him.

    Anybody?

I guess they decided not to get an MRI since I haven't read anything about it. It still concerns me that his knee swelled up that much that quickly. That usually isn't a good sign.

I hope it's nothing serious. This team is living on jump shots without him. And our jump shots don't fall at a high percentage.

I would usually say that's a good sign if they opted against an MRI. My concern is the level of his knee swelling and the fact that I have lost some faith in our team doctors. The latter may not be fair but I can't help it.
