According to Bucks fans, Redd is just as bad as Tracy and Yao when it comes to injuries.

Sucks for them, they just grabbed the 8th seed too.

the curse of Yi Jianlian. Redd talks smack about Yi after he's traded to the Nets. Yi gets injured while guarding Redd. Redd gets injured and is out for the season. Whats next?

Redd said during the Olympics that Yi had a lot of growing to do, but he's going to be terrific. The reporter then responded:
"Well, you guys got the better of that trade."

To which Redd quickly responded: "We did, oh we did, we did, we did, we did. We're happy, no question."

So what initially sounds like Redd complimenting Yi is basically a backhanded way of him saying that Yi is terrible and the team so much better and happier without him. I guess its a way of talkin smack about a former teammate in nicely disguised way.

Where's the smack talk? That's just stating the obvious. C'mon it was Yi for Jefferson.

    It's sad for Yi.

Not so special a chinese player, but the refs make life even harder for him, just like Yao.

I hope NBA cleans up their refs soon, too horribly inconsistent.

I wonder if he'll ever be the same player, because he's not getting any younger.

Yi was just starting to string together a few good games before he got injured, he still has alot of developing and learning to do but he has potential. As for Redd, the Bucks are screwed now, Bogut and Redd out. Anyone know when Bogut is expected to return?

What would have been an appropriate response? "No, we didn't get the better of the trade that netted us an all-star coming off a season where he put up 23 points a game. We got hosed!"

I am pretty sure he can come back. His game is pretty much about shooting, so...

I understand that is a very serious injury, but if he works hard...

If Redd fully heals from this injury, this is great for the Bucks. They'll get a high lottery pick and there's more PT to see what the rest of their current roster is made of.

high lottery pick > 8th seed in the east.

I'm not sure if Redd's injury is the same but it could be another Allan Houston situation.
