Come on out to Frank's Pizza, downtown at Travis and Prairie, tomorrow night (Sunday 1/25) for pizza, beer, and some of that old-time Houston-style Texas blues music from the H-Town Jukes! We'll be playing from 6:00-8:30 PM, and there is no cover charge. Frank's is in the same building as Cabo, across the street from the Houston Chronicle building. Come get your blues groove on!!!
Sadly, I will be doing a karaoke battle tomorrow against one of my girl's friends at quite possibly the gayest bar in Houston, JR's. Uhhh, yeah. Actually, she will be bringing some girls with her to cheer her on. If you're up for joining us beforehand, swing on by. I figure we'll be over there sometime between 2-4.
cool...looking forward to it. was impressed by the venue (i think you said you're playing on the restaurant stage though), even if i had to call a girl a not so nice name and the bartender, only seeing her push me as i was taking my rightful place in line after she had cut in front of me, overcharged me for a drink when i could clearly see the price of my drink on the cash register. that's one dollar less on his tips for the night, i'm so got him.
Yes we are playing the restaurant stage. Restaurant is on the street level right where the valet is. Don't go upstairs that night. No cover...just make a reservation in the restaurant if you want to eat or hang out by the bar if you don't. See you there!
