    Because if they take a shot in 24 seconds then there's no time left, duh!

    I'm getting tired of these Pacers announcers. One just said, "Don't make it" as Wafer tossed that shot up.

    26 seconds is not enough time for the last shot when you're behind. they use all 24, the shot goes in the air, then you have to grab the rebound, that all takes time. and you might not even get the rebound.

    you can maybe trap for a while to try for a steal, but you damn sure can't let the clock run out.

    They don't take the whole 24 seconds cuz it runs the risk of a shot clock violation. You usually will end up with 3-4 secs left if you rebound.

    i dunno what is really going on with yao right now, i actually feel asleep, lol, but we can win this game. i envisioned us winning 34 straight games, with tonight being #4. still aint over. we just need a big play, now, from guys that don't usually make CLUTCH plays. no problem, though. this is where we will see whether wafer or rafer or brooks or barry or battier is ready now!
