If he do play few games and choose not to play, it would be mad disrespectful to his fans(including me) who vote him in and also idc if i get bash for voting him in, but it's a all star game in which fan vote who they want to see.
At least it's not as bad as the NHL All-Star game. Not one player from the top 2 teams in either conference got voted in as a starter, including last season's MVP, Alexander Ovechkin.
That's what I thought. I don't know why everyone else is seeing it as him definitively saying he's not playing. He's just saying that's not what's important to him at the moment.
