Indiana won a tiebreaker with Toronto for the 14th pick in the June 26 draft. Houston, which has Toronto's pick, will select 15th. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news/ap/20020424/ap-nbadraft-drawings.html
Damn, there's not too much to say about that. That just really sucks. With all the centers probably being available around that time in the draft, that probably means the Rockets are going to get a lesser prospect, because I'm sure the Pacers will go for a big man. I can't see it right now. We were all hoping for the 1st and 14th pick, and we'll end up with the 8th and 15th pick.
I guess we could either ship that pick, or take a big risk and go for Jamal Sampson. It would be nice to have Ralph's lil' cuz on this team. The guy is supposed to be a super athletic 7 footer with loads of "potential". Might as well take a chance.
