I didn't think of Mike james, that might be a good choice. James doesn't jump as high

Couldn't find a good photo, but this guy is who I thought about when I first started paying attention to Wafer's shot...

On one of his 3's last night, I thought the same thing. He brought rain with that jumper. But Purvis' shot was just silly - an 18 footer probably went 30 feet in the air. lol.

    Either Mike James

Or Larry Bird but with a lot of elevation- the way he raises his hands above his head is similar to Bird, elevation is a different matter

Kirk's shooting motion was like a pitcher's wind-up. Slow! Paint drying on a wall would watch HIM shoot.

    Mike James' shot was overhead.

V-Dub's shot is two-handed, as in both hands are contributing to the shot alignment as opposed to a predominant shooting hand and a less dominant hand that assists in setting the ball on the shooting hand. Also...he holds the ball out in front, and pushes through as opposed to the overhead motion.

I don't think Wafer puts his left hand on top of the ball as much as Luther Head does. Thankfully. Remember when we were excited about Luther Head during his rookie year?

Not at all. T-Mac has one of the most smoothest LOOKING jump shot in the game. Not saying Von doesn't have a nice looking jumper, but Mike James is a good one.

    That's not T-mac. It's Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway.

I think people just say T-Mac because both get so much elevation on their shots, but that's where the similiarity ends.

Love that elevation, although I swear every time he shoots I think he's going to miss.

Also, craziest 3pt shot on the team has to go to Brooks. Have you guys ever tried shooting sideways like that? I can't do it at all.

Looked at this pic and immediately thought of mike james. Definitely not t-mac, his trajectory is more straight.
