Question for those that watch NBA games that don't involve the Rockets. How well does K shoot the outside shots? I can get my own statistics, I want to know how you would rate him or even compare him. I have seen numerous games but when I think of his game I think of a slasher, move without the basketball(similar to Shandon) type player.

I think he'll come back much better next seaosn. His offense is almost there. Needs some work. He's probably got a grip on speaking some English too. He'll also definitely bulk up.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Jazz aren't going to die anytime soon. Nice young core of players:

    Jarron Collins
    Donyell Marshall
    Kirilenko
    Stevenson
    Raul Lopez
    Whatever they get for Malone
    Their draft pick (20th?)

They alerady have a starting line-up.

Kirilenko is a winner though. One offseason away from being a star.

The Jazz wont' trade him. Malone and Russell will be up for grabs this summer though.

I wonder what we would be giving up for this very good player?? KT would be my thought. But something else must be in there... I don't know what.

Sane - I finally agree with you because you actually said something that made sense. If they can keep sloan around and get Lopez, they are going to be tough. No way the Jazz will give up andrei his ceiling is just as high as griffin. They just need sloan to stick around. This yrs draft they need to take the best availible player. I'll tell you a good trade for utah. Malone to the heat for Grant and their pick. It would give Riley one last run, plus he'll have 2 expiring contracts. It would give Utah a tough 4,plus he's signed and a high pick to go along with their other pick. I don't want to improve either team, but it makes sense for both.

    Lee-
I don't know. If you were Malone, would you go to the Heat. I probabaly wouldn't if I wanted to win a ring but I would if I wanted to hang out with the ladies on South Beach.

looks like a nice core until you compare it to the rest of the west. far too many teams in the west have better young cores and utah is probably one of the bottom 5 teams in terms of FA attractiveness (they have cap room upcoming in a few years too).

that jazz team seems headed for at least a couple seasons of rebuilding... doesn't anyone else think that core wouldn't be cohesive enough and pull wins without stockton and malone there?

andrei had some amazing defense... somewhat stopping peja (although i attribute it more to peja having an off night) and that incredible block on pollard... reminded me of dr funk almost.

but he gets lapses... his a rook, will improve... but ceiling as high as griff? i don't know yet

We should try to get Rupaul this off season. He's pretty tall and would certainly get us a lot of publicity. Him next to EG would make an excellent shot blocking tandum. Rupaul sets em' up and EG knocks em' down. Anybody ever think of that.
