We are seeing true chemistry among a bunch of role players and one true allstar-Yao (sounds faimilar to 94", Dream had Clyde in 95).

I truly feel that Tmac and Ron struggle with running Rick's offense and moving the ball. As Kenny states they are ball stoppers and love going one on one as the other 4 watch them hoist up shots. I hope by watching what role players are doing they will get with the program and join everyone else in something beautiful (Team Ball).

We need Tmac to play D not O, we can get points by taking what the D gives him. We don't need him to go one on one and shoot over a defender. We need him going to the hole. Leave the one on one to Yao.

I seem to recall similar questions being asked a year ago. Tracy comes back, and we proceed to win like 27 of the next 28 games, nearly half of them without Yao Ming.

If Tracy and Ron are close to 100%, I wouldn't worry.

Some of you guys act like they'll refuse to play the offense...remember that game we had when Ron, Tracy, and Yao all played well, that wasn't a coincidence, its because they actually got to know each others game on a consistent basis, but after line ups were mixed up again..

Adelman is a great offensive coach and i think he knows what he's doing, its not as if there gonna go out there and run around like chickens with their heads cut off, the main plan is still to "get it to Yao". Tracy and Ron open up more opportunities and give us more scoring when Yao is on the bench.

I think Ron and Tracy know what can come out of this season and they aren't gonna just come in and mess it up, they're gonna gel together

You want a random number crunch?
I'm coming up with thirty-two point three three, repeating of course, percentage that they will ruin the streak.

We seen Tmac and Twarier jack up some crazy shots with a hand their face when other players are open. So called heat check or whatever. We need them to give up the rock when a defender is playing good D.

I didn't vote in this poll, but I did catch Barry's first post-game interview on 610 and he said that the Rockets are playing their best ball in the last 8-10 games and that there are "10 guys in that locker room that believe in what the coaches are saying."

That quote may be up for interpretation, but it seemed pretty clear to me. Ironically I really thought TMac was finally "buying in" a month ago, but when he shut it down mentally he was a joke on the court that even he couldn't stand.

And Ron-Ron, ugh. He loves Adleman, criticizes his own play, and still chucks like a lunkhead and makes it all about him.

Our season depends on these guys and I don't see how anyone could be comfortable with that. I still have hope...

people seem to forget that fact.

as long as tracy is healthy, he can only make our team better.

the only time tracy has made our team "not as good" is earlier this yr, when he clearly SUCKED.

unless he keeps sucking, i don't foresee that happening.

Considering the injuries to multiple players leading to so many changing line-ups and rotations, I'm happy to disregard the early part of the season.

Now that we've had a solid rotation recently, and therefore a chance for the team to get a flow, I think Ron and Tracy will come back and fit in fine.

Earlier on, both of them were looking to put the team on their shoulders, and now they know they don't need to. At least, not to the degree we have seen so far.

Lastly, we want Ron and Tracy because they can iso when required. (Plus the other talents they being to the table). Without them, I don't see this team being a threat in the post-season. A for effort no doubt, but that only gets you so far.

T-mac got game he can do it all. But

In order to go far into the post season and possible win a Title, HE MUST BUY INTO THE SYSTEM.

We know he makes the TEAM better that isn't a question. The question is will he use his mega skills within the SYSTEM.

a HEALTHY tracy can play in any system. hell, he's the only player on this team who can dominate at the high post via adelman's system.

a BANGED-UP tracy can't play in any system. if we played JVG system this yr, tracy would have still sucked.

if he's healthy, he'll adjust to the team with ease. he did that last yr after he sat out. he came back and got into MVP talks.

You keep saying last year when he came back. We won those games within the 22 game winning streak with our defense. We still weren't running the offense properly, only recently have guy's finally have gotten comfortable with what rick wants them to run. Last season it was still T-mac iso the majority of the game.

The key is will tracy move the basketball not just to intiate the offense from the high post using his triple threat skills but will he move the ball and share the play-making responsibilities which aren't just being able to create your own shot.

Proper ball movement also can make other guy's play-makers.

Regardless, we need them out there to take pressure off of Yao. As Clyde and Worrell were alluding to tonight, teams are playing Yao differently with them out of the line up.

    Edit: typo!
