For those who didn't watch the game or who wants to watch it again like myself, the game is on Altitude now starting of 3rd Q.
In this game, Yao broke two minor records of the Rockets. 1. He surpassed Mike Newlin and become the No.7 all-time scoring leader (8499) of the Rockets (No 1-6: Hakeem Olajuwon, Calvin Murphy, Rudy Tomjanovich, Elvin Hayes, Moses Malone, and Robert Reid) 2. He overtook Elvin Hayes' No4 position (2310) in FTs made (2314). Top 3 players in this category are Dream (5376), Murphy (3445), Moses Malone (3024). Good job, Yao!
#11 most likely will be retired in the future. It's hard to imagine that yao will go to another team lol
i wouldn't like that last call to be made against us but with the **** job they pulled on yao all night, we more than earned that one.
Good effort by the Rockets except on D .... At least we got a W. Now, can someone explain to me why Yao gets officiated so poorly? China should stop buying US debt until we get an explanation!
Wafer was absolutely atrocious defensively last night. That had to be one of the worst defensive performances of any player ever. It's strange - his defense is at least passable usually. I hope it was a one time thing.
he admits he is still learning on the job. but i always remind myself, the team is paying him like 600,000$ a year for his effort night in and night out...
First game I've made it to this year, great game, crowd was really good too, although a lot of empty seats still.
real talk, man the rockets are winning....luther head is getting paid more then this dude and you see what he's doing on the court...terrible...
It was my first time to go this season too. The upper levels had more people and was very loud. I hope to go to the Sacramento game in February! Go Rockets!
Why single him out, the whole team didn't play much defense, especially in the first half? It was almost totally playground.
He was tied for second in scoring with Rafer Alston - both had 18 points. Not bad offensively. Defensively, he needs some improvement, I guess.
