Simple.Chinese officials have said only chicago or new york.Take it or leave it.

Stern right now is asking Kruase who he will take.

If Kruase says ming, then chicago gets #1.

If Krause says woods or wagner. Then ny gets #2 or #3.With chicago at #1 getting woods, with ny getting ming at #2.Then no one can say "conspiracy" since ny got #2.Stern will say "its not my fault chicogo didnt draft ming"

Rockets are ,I say this again, will get the 6th pick.No ifs ands or buts.

We dont want butler.I just know it.Butler and shandon play (in rudys eyes) the same game.So why did we get rid of shandon just to redraft him?SO we wont.Oilepere is right,we will package 6 + 14 + kenny + maybe rice? for a center most likely olowocandi since he Completely burned cato in the matchups over last three years.Case closed.

Now quit talking about woods or ming .Maybe even odom or lewis.Stern needs revenue dispersed evenly not all the best players of last 4 drafts on one team that has the lOWEST attnedence in L.(rockets)(4 drafts I mean,he gave us a favor in steve/eddie/wink wink deal mo taylor) enoughs enough,we are stuck with this team, take it or quit complaining.

What are you talking about new guy? First of all, Chicago doesn't want Woods, they want Jason Williams with the 2nd pick. Butler and Shandon might both be slashers, but they aren't the exact same player. Butler, unlike Shandon, can actually make 3 pointers. Not to mention he is taller, faster, and cheaper. One of the main reasons we sent Shandon packing was because he wanted a lot of money for doing absolutely nothing last year. And exactly how did Stern give us "deals" to get Steve, Eddie, and Mo T? The way I remember it, Steve didn't want to play in Vancouver so that's how we got him. He wasn't cheap, we had to give up a good SG, a good PF, and a first round pick to get him. Mo T signed a contract for the minimum, how in the hell would we need Stern to help us with that? And finally, Griffin was a 19 year old project, the Nets needed a bench. I think the trade worked out nicely for both teams. I don't see why Stern would be involved in that either. As for the rest of that last paragraph, I have no freakin clue as to what the hell you are trying to say about revenue and the best players of the last 4 drafts being on our team. We have Francis from 99' and Mobley, who was a steal in the 2nd round, from 98'. Eddie isn't the best player of last years draft, there are guys like Gasol, Battier, and Richardson who are having better years than Eddie. Last time I checked none of those guys were on this team. Also, we don't have Kenyon or Mike Miller, the best players of the 2000 draft, on this team either. Basically, my point is that you need to stop b****ing and sounding like some crack head or something. This place is for Rocket fans.

You didn't read OP's posts too well if you think we are going to package all those picks and guys for Olowakandi. OP said that the Rockets are focusing on the 3 and 4 right now, and that they are sticking with Cato for next season.

Hey jahiro. Why in God's green earth would we trade the 6, 14, KT, and Rice for a 7 foot tall baby? That would leave us with absolutely no draft picks for this year and I don't really think that would make us better at all. I admit unloading Rice's contract would be nice but there is not a chance in hell I would give up that much for Olowokandi. The Clips already have a lotto pick and will most likely get Atlanta's pick (given that Atlanta doesn't land a top 3 pick). That's two lotto picks already and we'd be giving them two more. Does any team really want 4 lottery picks? Why would the Clips pull the trigger on this trade? I also wanna know where you got all this info. One more thing: when referring to the Rockets, don't use the word "we". That word is reserved for fans.

the Clips are looking to resign Olowakandi to a big contract. Trust me they dont want to get rid of him. Te Clips will most likely end up losing Odom and Maggette because they have thei money set on resigning the Kandi man. THey cant afford to keep Odom and Maggette.

My sources are correct on this one.

LOL. We would be lucky to land Kandi. Trust me when I say he will be one of the top C's in the league next year. he showed time and time again this last year than on offense, he can go head to head with anyone. He's just not getting involved very much. He wuold flourish in a team-first system. Unfortunately, I'm nto sure that's what we have.

If we got the #2, we maybe able to land him, because the Clipps want Jason Williams bad.

But the effort Cato brings on defense, Kandi doesn't. Next year, offense won't be a problem. So I'll stick with Cato unless the deal is on our favour. I don't want to bench Cato, because you lose productivity for benching a player like Cato.

I'm completely satisfied with Cato at C. I'd like to have a quick, offensive minded, 6'10 player at C. I think Griffin is the perfect backup for Cato in fact.

Maybe we can make due with not draftiong a big man?

    Cato(25)/Griff(20)/MoT(3)
    MoT(22)/KT(20)/Griff(6)
    Rice(22)/T-Mo(14)/Griff(12)
    Cat/Torres
    Francis/Mooch

Those are the minutes for the frontcourt. Notice how flexible we are up front.

    - Can play C:

    Cato, Griffin, MoT

    - Can play PF:

    MoT, Griffin, KT, Cato, T-Mo

    - Can play SF:

Rice, T-Mo, Griff, KT, MoT (very rare though), Torres

Thats' nice. If you add a player, you lose a lot of minutes, and it gets tought o work out. Of course, if we traded someone, that would be more beneficial.

One thing though. After I did that, I realized, I definitely won't be satisfied with the minutes available to Griffin at PF. I want him to learn how to play the PF postion. Hence, a trade is needed.

KT (barely makes anything), Rice (2-yr only), #5 can do wonders for us. Maybe even the #2 pick?

Why Chicago would do it? They get Rice, who's got experience and won't need many minutes. Doesn't have a long contract. Just 2 years. KT? Can back the PGF's up since Oak is leaving and Fizer is likely on hiw way out for a veteran PG. #5 they can pick whatever they want, probably a backup C. But I don't know if they'd want 2 very young backup C's. Again, they can turn around and trade it for Mihm, or Doleac, or Foster (IND), Kandi. They can trade whoever they pick. hatever, it's up to them. But they get depth.

We get #2, whih lands us a player we want for sure. We can easily get Ming or Odom. If Ming is available, take him. If he's not, send Jason Williams to the Clipps for Odom and one of their picks. Then pick a C with one pick, and package the other with KT and Rice for a backup C and a future pick.

Maybe if we package all of our first and second round picks, we can get Shaq, Kobe, and a Shaq Paq from Burger King.;)

But really, if the knicks somehow landed any of the top 3 picks, i would call it a conspiracy.
