Without getting what is or isn't acceptable. She obviously makes life choices that bothers you. Find someone compatible who doesn't. IMO it is "awful" on her part to spin the AIDS roulette for you.

The girl slept with someone before she even became your girlfriend -- at best, you were at the friends with benefits stage. So, what's the big deal? Get over it. If you can't, get over her. You will be doing a favor to everyone concerned. Sorry, if I sounded rude but I think you should do what is best for you. There is no point in suffering emotional turmoil -- it is not fair to you or her.
She probably did him more than once. I think she was afraid of it being awkward due to having seen/dated/done him various times - this guy was more than just a one time thing. This way she is being 'honest' by telling you a bit of the truth that will make you believe she doesn't want secrets. By giving you a little she hides A LOT more. But that's just what I think.
I don't get it, if you had not had "The talk" about exclusivity, then you were not exclusive. Do you think she was a virgin before you got there? Were you? Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but if I'm going out with a girl for 3 months and we only just start getting physical, then I'm assuming that's an exclusive relationship and I don't think that is unreasonable. Now maybe she was of the opinion that it might not be exclusive, but from my point of view if it is in question (and I think 3 months and sex DEFINITELY calls it into question) then it is on HER to clear things up before she decides to do some other guy. That she hid it for over a year from the OP and only revealed it because the guy was back in the picture is just as damning. If she really felt they weren't exclusive and it was okay to screw some other dude, then she should have come clean the minute she DID know that it was an exclusive relationship. She didn't do that, which makes me think there is at least some measure of guilt there on her side. From what little I know about this situation from these posts, were it me in the situation I would drop her like a rock.
