If George Karl was the Rockets' coach, he would have been fuming with no refs' calls for fouls on Yao by the nuggets - I am sure of that. On one of the foul calls on Yao, Yao did not even have any contact with the nugget player - all he got was the ball, and yet the ref. called a foul on Yao. Karl would have been p***ed.

Nick- When u say shaq didn't have to battle hybrid zones, I guess u don't remember the sonics and karl. When u say shaq can't shoot over people, now I question ur basketball iq. There is a reason why shaq gets a lot of uncontested shots. Players guarding him have their hands down bracing for the punishment and before they know it, he's in the air with the jump hook or dunk. If shaq, who is in his 17 th yr can avg 17 and 9 in 30mins, what do u think he could do if he was in his 7th yr? Do u remember what that guy was like? That was a guy averaging almost 30-12-3ast-3blks.

Shaq in his prime was a phenomenal athlete. There will be no other like Shaq or Yao or Hakeem or Jordan etc. All these players are unique in their own rights.

yao...if taking his height into account...is probably the best athlete in the world right now lol.

medically speaking, he shouldn't be able to even walk properly...

"We had great effort,'' Karl said. "My big guys battled Yao and got beat up a lot. He's a tough cat, gets away with a lot of holding, grabbing and dislodging. There are losses that are good losses. Tonight was a good loss. We did a lot of things well.''

    What irony...

Take it easy. They just don't want to see a short handed Rockets win the game. If we won the Lakers game, more ugly words could come out from these idiots.

It was 3 a.m. in China when the game began. I had hesitated to get up or not, so I set the alarm of the clock to see if I will be awaken. I am happy the alarm worked. Rocket’s performance of today made my staying up finally worthwhile.

But, I am very tired and die to sleep at work now…

    Rafer.

Without Rafer , we mgiht get blown out.

or maybe we might blew them out without 36 minutes' Raferness.

I am really glad Yao got the tec. If Yao can get more tecs then Rox will win more. The refs will only be fair when you do not care about tecs.
