With the west being so tight this year, much to my delight, one of my two least favorite teams are bound to miss the playoffs. Assuming Portland doesn't collapse or god forbid we have another set of devestating injuries, it looks as if Utah and Dallas will be fighting for that last playoff birth. Who would you rather see miss the playoffs? My vote is for the Jazz. I read thier fan boards, and just love the dish of karma they are getting for making fun of all our injuries. Wonder if they can appreciate our situation a little better now
I hate Jazz more ofcourse. But I would rather them meet the Lakers/No 1 seed in the playoffs than Dallas.
The last thing I want when we get past the first round or win a Championship is to have to deal with Jazz fan sclaiming, we wouldn't have anything if they made the play-offs. Would be as much of an annoyance as them saying we only won our two Championship because Jordan retired. That is why I would rather the Mavs miss the play-offs.
Of course most of us will say the Jazz because we all hate them so much but we should think things through before automatically answering the question. Personally I'd rather see the Jazz make the playoffs as the 8 seed and Dallas be the team left out. Utah has a real shot at beating the Lakers in the first round. I can't say the same for any other team that would land in the 8 spot. If you think about it Boozer should be healthy by the time the playoffs start, and Millsap will be playing more. Deron should be rolling by that time as well. How would you like to be the Lakers and face Utah in the first round, especially a Utah team that should be clicking by that time. I don't know about other Rockets fans but I'd much rather play Utah in the second round than the Lakers, seeing how we'll probably end up in the 4 or 5 spot again.
I still don't understand this argument. The Jazz had the same opportunity as the 94 and 95 Rockets championship team had. In fact, we whipped their ass, twice, to get to the championship. They could have taken advantage and beaten us those two years and given themselves the same chance. Dumb argument.
Jazz>Lakers>Mavs we have more of a history with the j*zz and the Fakers.... enough to make my blood boil when I think of them!!!!
I don't hate anyone (or team), but my instinct is to dislike the Mavs more than the Jazz. Mark Cuban is the singular reason the Mavs are my #1 disliked team in the NBA. I dislike like Dirk but not as much as the past. What makes this season unique is the Mavs aren't good while the Jazz still have a chance to make the Finals if they get healthy. Another factor is my complain disgust for Andre Kirilenko. He might be my least favorite player in the NBA. But I must admit I loved that his most infamous flop victimized Dirk and the Mavs. It's almost like justice was done. It's easier to dislike the Mavs when they are good. This season, they are so irrelevant that I barely care. If/when it becomes clear that Boozer won't be full strength this season, the Jazz will drop off my radar too.
everytime they play against each other i hope they could both lose.. i also hoped they play 10 OTs so they would be tired for the next game, and their fans (especially the jazz fans) could just give up and go home.
1. Mavs - Organization of douchb@gs and we hate Dallas. 2. Utah - No explanation needed...just say their fans, their coach, their style of play 3. Lakers - See #1 and they get special treatment by the refs.
to you too. The Mavs have zero chance to make an impact in the playoffs. Zippo. If you don't like that, then that's just tough. If Dirk was in the same position this season as McGrady and the Mavs were only 1 1/2 games back of the Rockets, then I would waste more time on them. The Rockets have the prospect of getting 2 top-level players back and making a run. Time will tell. All the Mavs have is a lack of talent. When Jet Terry cools off later on, the good ship Maverick will crash. Good day.
My most hated team is the Jazz. But I wanna take out the those bastards in the playoffs. I wanna see little incestic children in Utah cry to their mommies..err sister...umm whatever. I rather not have the Mavs make the playoffs so that pos Mark Cuban can cry like a little spoiled brat. Not to mention I beyond hate Dirk Nodickski, Josh "uglies mofo/crooked teeth" Howard and that airplane wannabe Jason Terry.
