Violet Palmer is the worst ref in the NBA

I swear every game we have that is officiated by her we get jobbed. It's not like she's trying to make us lose, she just has no clue what is going on over the course of a game. Every NBA team has experienced this at some point or another.

You generally know a ref is bad if you know their name (with the exception of Steve Javie, who JVG made famous by praising him as being an away-team's ref), but with Violet Palmer it's so bad that as soon as you mention her name you hear people around you sighing and thinking "that explains everything." It's frustrating when we have to have an important game like today's completely illegitimized by her presence.

I did a quick (and certainly not comprehensive) check of games that Violet Palmer has "served" us in:

Nov. 6 @ Portland L 99-101
Nov. 21 @ Washington W 103-91
Dec. 8 @ Memphis L 97-109
Today vs. Denver

I'm more concerned with RA not using Mutumbo. I think he could have shined in the late 2nd and early 3rd.

I was just telling my buddy at lunch how much I loathed violet palmer. Needless to say he hates her now. Her history with us just seems to be so bad and it always seems to be towards Yao.

I don't know if she's the worst in the whole NBA, but she's pretty close to the bottom and it's easy to notice her because of who she is.

i cant stand violet palmer either she seems to be over the top with her calls and she always seems to be adamant that she is right i dont know if its some sort of issue because she is the only female ref in the league now.

i also dont like zach zarba

But I do agree that the other two refs have made bad calls also this game, as well as not having the balls to call each other out on their mistakes and get the call right. But we don't focus on them because they look the same as any other generic bad ref in the NBA--old and white. That in no way absolves Palmer though.

I am willing to admit that the main reason I've noticed her is her gender. If it was some anonymous male ref that always makes horrible calls all game long, I might not notice.
