think after this season, another team might giv him a nice contract around the 3-4mil per year deal if he keeps playin well like he has these past few weeks. that boston shot he hit mite just giv him that boost hes needed to make somethin of himself in this league. tip my hat off to von.
Haha! Both our two guards have those droopy eyes (more in TMac though, obviously). Nice, simple interview. It was exactly how I expected him to answer it. I wish he could lend some of his energy to T-Mac, damn that would be sweet. I hate watching Grampa T-Mac sometimes.
Still remember the hard fought between him and Strawberry for the final spot in those pre-season games.
You mean Anna Megan? She is always the reporter for the Houston Rockets. You can check a lot of her videos at www.chron.com/rockets.
Thanks HT~ I really like this kid. He seemed so nervous! "You don't want to be the weak link" Good stuff.
He adds a good deal of interest for me; I want to see him continue to do well and prove he is the real deal come of age. This team is starved for athleticism. Fans go crazy when they see a player leave the ground.
One thing I find interesting about Von Wafer is what a slim margin there is between being very successful in the NBA and being a complete bust. Here is a guy who has bounced around the league, barely made the roster, and is now a starter for a talent loaded team. Yet, I cant help but compare Von's situation to Gerald Green's situation. They are both young and extremely gifted and athletic, both bounced around the league, both barely made the Rockets roster, but Von has made the most of it while some one like Gerald is still struggling. Maybe its Von's work ethic or his basketball IQ. I just find it interesting that no matter how talented you are, how smart you are, how hard you work, the margin for success in the NBA is razor thin.
