What a game. I couldnt watch the whole thing, but saw all of the fourth quarter. If the Rockets are not in the playoffs, I enjoy nothing more then watching Jazz, Spurs and Lakers losing (atleast I'm lucky on two fronts). Payton was taking little French boy to school. Baker has held his own in two games which is really surprising. If Seattle can pull out game three SA will be in big time trouble.

There are bigger fish to fry than the Spurs. Will Seattle have a snowball's chance in hell against the Lakers? I need the Spurs to take a crack at unseating LA. Get well soon, Mr. Robinson. Go Spurs!

IMO I dont think the Sonics would have a chance of winning a game against the Lakers...the Spurs have a chance to play Lakers tough.....Sonics are a type of team that beats up on the Spurs, and even the Kings when they are playing good D, and making an incredible % of their shots. I dont see them defending or scoring on the lakers at all. So I hope they lose to the Spurs in this series, which they probably will in 5.

Spurs are not the only team that have a chance to dethrone the Lakers. Especially when David is hurt. Shaq will bump his ass once and his back will act up again.

I think the Mavs and to some extent the Kings have the best chance of beating the Lakers.

man, did the refs try to hand the spurs that game or what? where's cat complaining about the cheating? i know he does when he thinks the lakers "cheat", why ain't he complaining about the refs "cheating" for the spurs?

I almost completely agree. You cannot stop Shaq, you cannot beat the Lakers at their game (slow it down, pound inside, spot up) because of it. If a team beats them it has to be a run and gun outfit who has a team of shooters and gets hot enough to outscore them 4 out of 7 games. Realistically I think Sac is the only team with a better than 1/5 chance barring major injuries (I would put their odds more like 2:3 or 1:2) though I would give the Mavs the next best chance.
