This is meant as a fun poll, not one to argue per-se, just to see where the board stands overall.

It is not to be taken too seriously, but it is more about how you think people who don't agree with you think of your opinion on Tmac.

If you believe Tmac dogged it, and should be healed, and the team is mad at you - then you are a hater.

If you believe Tmac can do no wrong, and he is just injured - you are an apologist.

If you don't like the definitions......decide based upon your own criteria.

    Me - I am clearly a hater.

I believe TMAC is injured, but not that he can do no wrong...where's my option?

I fall in between. I really, really dislike him at this point based on this season's actions, but would probably forgive him if he came back strong AND bought into the Adelman system.

Not holding my breath (and abstaining from voting)

Which option do you feel the most strongly about, do you think he is more injured or is he just struggling because he didn't do the rehab?

If you are split down the middle, then vote - present.

The sad thing is that when you read this board it is pretty clearly split into these categories, obviously with a few exceptions.

That is why I am posting this poll, clearly there are some that think Tmac can do no wrong.

I just wonder where the silent majority lay.

I'm neither, yet at the same time, I'm both. Though, it's hard to remain a believer, in the sense that he can come back and help the team. I just want what's best for the team, and the best is, whether you like it not, is a healthy, motivated, giving-it-his-damn-all T-Mac. That all depends on him though. It really is all on him this time.

I still have hope. It's dwindling though.

    heh.

I'm sort of in between. I feel that he is injured, and has no ups which is affecting him. And that he is down mentally too.

I'm not a hater, I seriously want to see TMAC back to his form the last few years. I'm really hoping he can return to his dominant playoff form.

I'm not a TMOF either. Out of our 2 stars, neither of them are my favorite players on the team. Scola, Landry, and Wafer are currently my favs. :)

I am not a hater or apologist. Is he a softie? YES. Is it directly his fault that he sucks right now? NO. (i.e injuries) Would I trade him? YES.

Hmmm, this is a tough one.

I can't pick B, because there's no way I believe TMac can do no wrong. Yet, I don't want to be lumped in with the people who believe TMac can do no right either.

    I abstain DaDa.

Who is Tmac? Is he that fella who played for the Orlando Magic 7 years ago? My Rockets have this bum quitter called Tracy Lamar Mcgrady, Jr.

After the Drama TMac has created all by himself, I picked myself as a Hater(not happy about though).

I believe that he dogged his rehab, his ego is over inflated, and so is his salary for the level of play we have been getting.

I believe he is one of the most exciting players in the NBA to watch when he's on. I believe he will get back to that form when he's done being a b****. I believe nobody on this board knows how his knee feels. And I certainly believe that some people in some circumstances deserve a second chance.

Still a fan. Guess I am an "apologists".

Usually, truth and understanding are in the middle ...

... not in a knee-jerk panic reaction caricaturing someone in simplistic terms, nor in the opposite dichotomous reaction that overcompensates.

Panic threads lead to lots of posts, but little understanding and authentic interaction this board used to be know for. They kill intelligent interaction, and just get people heated up to say many stupid things.

No, the sad thing is that this poll reflects a few people's mindset, that you can only either hate or love a player without objectivity. And these few people stir up the board and make it an endless back and forth pissing match.

The majority of us who are in between are just sick and tired of all this.
